No! Hee hee! Had my hair cut today and having eyelashes tinted later. They say no make up for c-section but I don't go out the house without mascara on so this is a compromise lol! Still got a few bits to pack.

Missy honestly don't worry. With DS1 they scared me to death telling me I was having a monster but he was only 7lb 13oz at 2 weeks late. DS2 was another story but I won't scare you with that one :rotfl:!

  • Sorry should have said - I've been having extra growth scans because of my medication, they've picked up the drop in weight, not just the midwife measurements. :-(

OMG no makeup on for c section!!!! I too am a mascara junkie, I can live without everything else but I have blonde eyelashes for some reason and dark hair so I look really strange without it, I'd be going the whole hog, eyebrows done, eyelashes permed and tinted, think I might get them done anyway, just in case, god I'm vain lol

I worry because big babies run in mine and OH's families!!!!!

No nail varnish on toes, finger nails etc either! It's because they need to monitor your natural colour if that makes sense to detect any problems early. Guess skin turning blue isn't good :rotfl:!!!

How do you know what "week" they are measuring (notes have a lot of abbriv am looking at chart) they expected her to be 4lb 8oz today but its showing she's gone to 3lb 8oz. Have 9 weeks to go. From last scan which was 3 week ago she's put on 6oz. DD weighed 6lb 5oz when born. Bumps not very big - well not as big compared to DD - but they said theres a lot of fluid around her

Edit: by "week" I mean I've seen people say they are measuring XX week at XX

Can't really hear what they mumble - never have hearing aid in and oh wasn't with me :-(

I'm using wrong terms - she hasn't "dropped" in weight, she just hasn't put it on - I hope I'm making sense. To begin with they monitored us and said she would be 9lb ish when born, there now saying she'll be like DD

Sounds like you have small babies anyway Mimi. My midwife and sonographer told me that scans can be out by as much as 1kg each way which is virtually 2lb! That's hell of a difference isn't it! What is the plan of action?
