  • Hi Guys,

5 days over and not a peep from the little one yet. I think I said in my last post I was getting aches, pains and false contractions. Well, they vanished conpletely and I must say, I'm a bit disappointed - I was hoping he would be here by now.

Gilly - Funny you should say about the drooling. If I fall asleep during the day I also drool. Since I never, ever slept during the day pre-pregnancy I got quite a shock the first time I woke up on a wet pillow with a wet chin lol. I really wonder why - thought it was just me!

Sorry to hear so many of you are not sleeping properly. I haven't had a good nights sleep for about, oh, nine months now hehe. I seriously haven't slept a whole night through for about six months and last night, I was basically awake all night, just dozing. I saw every hour on the clock. I feel like a bag of pooh today and yet, I wish I could do a few bits as we still have a s*thole of a house and a few jobs from me owuld get us a bit further. Ripped up a ginormous cardboard box this morning for the recycling and I was wiped out afterwards :-(

Hope everyone is doing well. Someone was talking about breast pumps and I've decided not to buy one until I know that I can breast feed. I figure that I can just order from Amazon after the first few days if it all goes well.

Bought a few more bits this week, but still have plenty on the "to buy" list. Pleased to be passing 26 weeks in the next few days. I'm enjoying being pregnant now I have a nice rounded tummy. Feeling the little one move around every few hours or thereabouts and it's such a lovely feeling. Good luck to the ladies approaching birth day. Can't wait to get there myself :)

i am starting to wonder whether to wait to get the breast pump. i assume i should be able to breastfeed as i did with dd1. but i guess that might not be the case you never know. i am also wondering how much i will need to express and whether it is worth paying the money for the pump i want. might just keep watching it and looking for offers

    Hello

Sorry you're still waiting bascadette, must really feel like a long time coming.

I'm just bouncing, have been sooo extremely sad and old and sat with a cup of tea, my knitting and listened to the archers!! Its only the second time ive listened and I quite like it, i couldnt just sit and listen i have to do something else, but its giving me a good opportunity to knit the baby a little hat.

Am just watching 4 in a bed, then going to watch come dine, oh my life is so exciting lol. Really fancying a fried breakfast after seeing it on the tv, baked beans, tomatoes, bacon, sausage, egg mmmmm

  • [rant]How hard is it to get nursing bras in my size?!?!? Matalan only do up to E-cups, couldn't find any in stock in Debenhams, either in-store or online and I refuse to spend £30+ on one bra[/rant]

  • Well my last day after a lovely week off - DH had finished wallpapering the hallway, stairs and landing which im so happy about, we have lived here for just over 4 years now, the old wallpaper was one of the first things we ripped off the walls and never got round to putting any up. I feel like we need to get all the things done around the house as I hate to have visitors if its a mess, and im guessing I will have people round that wouldn't normally come round once baby is born.

Just waiting to go out for dinner, to an all you can eat Asian place - one of my favourites!!!

Yoga this morning, made the soup from my recipe I shared on here yesterday - which is lovely! SO now I have some meals ready for the week as im back at work from tomorrow.

Question : How many weeks before due date are you leaving work? I originally said 2 weeks before but with having the terrible pain in my back (only when im at work - not so bad at home) im thinking I may inform them I want to leave sooner.
