i am not bothering with the flu jab. if i was going to be at work with all those germy people i might think about it but i am not really going to be with people so i dont think i am at much risk.

True Jen. If you wont see anyone with it, then there is less worry so makes less sense to have it. I come into contact with allsorts at work, including overseas travellers, and i still have at least a month left, which is a worry for catching stuff, plus dh goes into London on the tube most every week, so often brings home bugs and lurgies for me, so makes sense to me.

feeling a bit sorry for myself now, sorry, sunday nights are always pretty hard to be by myself, sunday evenings are for nice dinners and snuggling up with OH on the sofa watching rubbish tv, not sitting here by myself in my jarmies feeling a bit lonely. :(

Aww, missy, sorry you are feeling a bit sad and lonely. Don;t be lonely, you have all of us, and a beanie just waiting to meet you! I often have a chat to beanie when its quiet and nothing happening. its nice time to get to "know " each other!

aww thanks lovely, I really cant wait for baby to come as he will keep me company. I do talk to him sometimes :) asking if hes ok and if he could just stay put until OH comes home then that'd be lovely. And yes thank you I have got you guys, so thank you to everyone who keeps me company, I really cant drive anymore as its just to painful so I spend most of my time on here.

EDIT: god what a saddo I sound lol, dont get me wrong im usually quite happy in my own company as am rather antisocial as i have said before, but just on the odd occassion it would be nice to have OH here to keep my company rather than him being away.

Question : How many weeks before due date are you leaving work? I originally said 2 weeks before but with having the terrible pain in my back (only when im at work - not so bad at home) im thinking I may inform them I want to leave sooner.

I'm finishing three weeks before my due date. I'm using three weeks holiday then my maternity leave starts on my due date (unless Pip arrives early of course, which I'm hoping won't happen!). I want my maternity leave to be as long as possible after the baby arrives so didn't want to use up too much of it before baby arrives.

Urgh, heartburn central for me here this evening :( Have just popped a tablet and had a big glass of milk so am hoping it goes away soon. I had a big bit of baguette for lunch, so am wondering if bread is the culprit, seeing as a lot of others seem to have the same thing... Have also been a bit wheezy, need to dig out my inhaler now the weather is turning!

Apart from that, today has been ok. Quite lazy but we put the cot bed together and I've done a load of washing, and I've just had a nice bath! Pip has been kicking loads, I was really being booted when I was in the bath!

Hope everyone else is having a nice evening. Jenjade don't get too stressed with your uni work. Is there something you have to get done tonight or can it wait until another night?

    what you studying jen?

have settled down with my knitting and braxton hicks it would appear. police interceptors is on, so am just watching that.
  • Im 29 + 3 and I have been getting braxton hicks for about 4-5 weeks. Didnt realise what it was at first but when I read up on it its definately that. I get it at the front of the bump towards the bottom and it only lasts for about a minute each time - just get tightening and hardening in the area. Glad I know what it is though! Apparantly you can get it from 5-6 weeks of being pregnant which I didnt know!
