WW, that's the same as me- I've been convinced it's a boy, but I keep dreaming about a girl.... So now I'm really confused! Congrats on 33 weeks, I was 33 on Friday. :) Scary number!

Watching my first ever baby show- there is really nothing on. 200 Sky channels, and nothing at all on.... Listened to the obstrecian (?) talk about birth, was alright until she came out with the line 'First time mothers don't realise that pregnancy hurts like hell. If they did, they may never have gotten pregnant.'

Thanks for that! Now getting apprehensive again.

Bit of an odd thing to say,esp when women go on to have 2 or more children. Try not to worry:)

    Afternoon ladies!

Has anybody got dogs on here and had babies before? I'm not concerned at all and I'm sensible, but getting quite fed up of people asking me what I'm doing with my dogs when the baby comes! I'm not doing anything with them, they are part of the family as well!

we have a;ways had dogs and never had a problem. obviously we never leave both the baby and the dog in the same room, with dd3 we found the dog was so protective over her that she wold growl at any visitor that went near her, we had to nip that in the bud but other than that we never had a problem.

    Evening all.

    On the dogs issue:

EX mil had a horrible little chihuahua. We went round once just after DD was born, she was laid in her Moses basket and the little dog jumped in the basket and laid on top of DD. I have never moved so fast in my life. Picked it up and took it in the other room, only for MIL to let it back in where it tried to get back into the basket again! I could have killed it.

Mil blamed me of course. Ggrrrrr.

    On another note:
Asda had Dr. Browns bottles on offer earlier. £5 for 2. I got a pack as all others I've seen have been near £11 for 2. heard ages ago that they were meant to be really good, just wondered if any of you lovely lot had used them?

Finish work in4 weeks because of all the holidays I have saved up. Wooooo :D

    Hope everyone's well. X

i love dr browns bottles, I find they really help with wind etc.

well i have finally moved, well kind of, we have moved in but still need to go and finnish the other house off, it got to 3am on saturday morning and we decided we need sleep so there is still another room to pack and then the cleaning. i want my deposit back so i will repaint the bathroom just to give it a freshen up and make it look all sparkling.

because we dont have a cooker i need to go to tesco and get something that we can add hot water to im sick of phoning dinner so i have asked my sister if i can borrow her microwave, at least i can make beans on toast or something for the kids then, chips and kebabs are just not good for them and im getting sick of the sight of them.

last night was so strange, the kids had a bit of a camping expodition, basicly i put loads of quilts on the floor and hung a sheet from the ceeling to make a tent, they were well impressed, and it saved putting beds up DH and i were so tired our legs just didnt want to work anymore, note to self: never move to a maisonette again, those stairs are out to kill you.

omg did you see tinman on x factor last night, anyone who knows me and my posts knows i detest tinman but omg he was so good.

Morning all! Sorry to those who struggled to sleep last night. I've not been too bad lately, even OH coming to bed after me hasn't woken me up lately when it always used to before.

I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do with myself today. I was supposed to be going round to a friend's house with a few others for an afternoon of card crafting but she's had to cancel so now have the day free. I don't really want to spend the day being lazy but the only thing I can think that needs doing is tidying and vacuuming which I don't really want to do either :rotfl: I finished painting the baby's room yesterday so am hoping to drag OH away from his Ps3 long enough to help me put the cot bed together and we've got an Asda delivery coming at some point today, but that could be any time between now and 6pm...

What to do, what to do?! I'm currently lying in bed, reading my 'what to expect' book but should probably get up and have some breakfast...

Well. Today's off to a great start. Just scalded bump by dropping boiling coffee all over it. I quit!

Scary but exciting. I am so looking forward to having my body back :D I shaved my legs and trimmed my toenails yesterday, by the time I was done I was sweating and could hardly breathe from bending over to reach my toes :o I keep thinking to myself that this is what old age will be like

Oh Lirin poor you, can you go back to bed for a while?

WW I can't paint my toe nails, well I probably could, but I think it would hurt so much I really can't be bothered. Shaving my legs etc is bad enough. I'm looking forward to being able to see my feet, haven't been able to see them from standing up for a very long time.
