I just hope I dont poop during birth without realising - my friend did this and her husband had to tell her 'you do realise you were pooping all the way through!' LOL:T baby boy born 01/01/2012 my New Years Day Boy

- shaving has consisted of randomly waving a razor around the general area! not been able to see what I am doing for a good few weeks but I think I've been doing a reasonable job!
- had a monitor with one of those movement pad things with DS and it was a nightmare! We'd forget to turn it off when we lifted him up, then when he moved to the cot the mattress was too thick to sense the movement so it would randomly go off. Have just got a very simple Tomy one this time for £10 off Ebay.
Got my MATB1 today eventually, and booked in for a flu jab on Thurs. Have eventually finished the painting in the nursery, will be sorting out DS' chest of drawers tomorrow to move them into nursery and to get his new wardrobe/drawers up at the weekend hopefully. Progress at last!Little lady arrived 13/12/110 -

dont want to turn up at hospital looking like edward scissor hands has been down there!Mimi_Arc_en_ciel wrote: »WAXED? ARE YOU CRAZY!!!!!! is it not enough that your going to be shoving a 7lb+ baby out of it you want to yank at it to?! lol
No im definitley not up for asking OH either lol theres things he can see and things he cant - me with a razor is one of those in the "cant" category!! Have screamed at him no end of time to vacate the bathroom when he's decided to just walk in!
See this is the thing isn't it. The fine line between being tidy and looking like a !!!!!! star (fine if you wanna look like one but I personally don't when I'm giving birth).
I thought I'd be really clever and trim and wax myself. Trimming is fine, cheap electric shaver with combs (can't go wrong with them). Then wax. Got a mirror and everything, how difficult can it be. Answer very. Flipping heck I bled and bruised and got wax stuck and at the end of all that my bikini line was just as untidy. All pain and no gain. Mind you OH was crying like a baby trying to remove a nicotine patch. Seriously I'm gonna push a baby out so get on with it love0 -
