Hi everyone,
Good luck to Bella, winnie and skint catt. Hopefully not too long till you're all having mummy cuddles! SC, I would definitely ring the hospital if you're in a lot of pain, they won't want to leave you suffering
Lirin, that sounds horrible, really painful
Congratulations to ddebski! Elizabeth Rose is a beautiful nameGlad to hear she is on the mend now
Kandboys, really pleased to hear this consultant was better than the registrar last weekbet you're relived now you have a date
Gilly, lovely neat bump
Apologies if I have missed anyone out, you lot can really talk!!!
I have had my 40 week midwife appointment this morning, although my due date is not till tomorrow! Can't believe I'm next after the boldies!!!   I remember being about 75th so it feels quite surreal that I'm next!
The midwife said flump is head down and no longer back to backhe was very wriggly when she was feeling my bump and has been kicking about ever since. She made me an appointment for a sweep next Saturday bit said really he is ready to come and could arrive at any time really
soooooo exciting
Hubby is off todaystill feels a little bit funny writing hubby! We have been up to the pub where I work for some lunch and to find out all the village gossip (apparently we have caused a little bit of this by eloping! Haha!) We're going into town shortly to post a parcel and then hubby is going to Hoover and shampoo the living room and hall carpets whilst I cook tea. Gammon and pineapple, but I don't think tinned pineapple is going to kick off labour!!!
He's also off tomorrow and is going flying for a couple of hours in the afternoon but the parachute school is only round the corner from where we live so he can get back quickly if I need him to
Hope everyone is having a good day

Re: Kindles - I've got mine all sorted out. It all depends on what you like to read, but I've discovered a few books free on Amazon which have been good.
That's me off work, a week and a half early after getting sent home on Tues for looking like a zombie (up and down all night), thankfully I had enough holidays to cover me til next Sat. Doesn't help that OH gets up early for work (5am) and as soon as he gets up, JJ seems to think "Daddy's up, so I need to get up!"."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Mancbird - Eeep! Hope that little mancbird comes soon and doesn't take too long!"Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Hmph, OH in the bad books now. He kidnapped my beautiful Twirl, leaving me with the crappy Caramel, and then sent me a pic of the empty wrapper with a message saying "Yum, that was good!". He can make his own tea when he gets in."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

eyelinerprincess I can't help you with a twirl, but at the moment in the fridge we've got normal mars bars, triple choc mars bars, lion bar, a galaxy present choc thing, a box of lily o briens chocolates, Rolo Biscuits, some Thorntons milk and strawberry buttons. I'll send you something
I'm sure in Ayr you could catch it.

Right well after my 2nd bath of the day the contractions have intensified to every 5 mins and although they're not quite 45 secs a piece as the midwife said she wanted, I'm phoning them now and going in, I can't take much more.
Wish me luck and a quick remainder of labour please

Gilly - You're well stocked! There's a shop out the back door, though, so I suppose I can send him out for something later on hehe.
