I have a couple of boxes of breast pads- haven't needed them yet....
Bras, someone had a bag of near new/used in a larger size? They do cost more the bigger you get, I'm constantly haunting Ebay, as expecially with nursing bras, there's often people selling job lots of 3-4 for very little.
Me now- extremely sore, DH rang and left a message for my GP, who rang back concerned that I'd heard a cracking sound...Have been referred to a physio, but from what I remember from other posters on here, that won't achieve much! DH has ordered me sofa bound as much as possible this weekend, and either got advice or googled- all I've heard since I got home has been 'Keep your knees together!' Still very sore.

I hated the slimline breastpads.. they were not as absorbant as the thicker ones and the edges left burn marks on me and they made me sweaty. I have the tesco normal thicker pads which have the sticky strip and are much comfier, I have had 2 leaky occasions.. both overnight and oddly both the left boob.. She doesnt like that one much.
I have just about stopped bleeding from having monster just need the infected stitches to clear up an the rest of the bruising to fade and I may be functional again. I used 1 pack of 10 thick pads after my waters broke, 6 huuuuuuuge hospital mattreses pads after she arrived and half a pack of thick pads and a ful pack of the slimline maternity pads.. which are no different to ordinary nighttime pads. I then used 2 packs of normal sanitary towels and am now halfway through a box of pantyliners... If that helps anyone with quantities to buy??
In 3 weeks we have used 3.5 packs of nappies.. Pampers micro ones as she is tiny and her little skinny bum is too little and skinny for size 1s.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Hi I'm new to the forums and I was searching for NCT and saw your question. It depends on how big the sale room is - the one I help out at sometimes has to let people in to the hall in batches or it gets too crowded so you might have to wait for a bit - I would take a drink, and also a brolly if its forecast rain - I have seen people get drenched before. Also have a list as stuff goes fast and you have to be quick and discplined or you'll come out with the wrong/too much stuff

Jenjade. It wasn't my normal boots that I go to, think I might go back there after that little lot
I just love the squeezy bottles lol.
Skint Catt - oohh good luck. Hope all goes well.
With regards to breast pads, I love the johnsons disposable ones. They've very comfy and never had any problems using them last time.
I remember a while back, someone was after Terry towelling sleepsuits.
Mothecare had some in sale today, 3 in a pack, down to £4 and then BOGOF. They feel lovely to touch. I got 2 packs of those, 7 sesame street bodysuits and a pack of I love mummy/daddy sleepsuits for £11.
Think we're pretty much sorted for clothes now, unless we find any more bargains. Xxx0 -
Remember if you are using your huggies vouchers for wipes that Sainsburys are doing buy 1 get 2 free but they are also selling the quad pack for £2.99!0

Yeah my mum has lost a shed load of weight so her bra's that she bought no longer fit so she has donated to me as we were roughly the same size. She is a mega shopaholic so ive got 30+ bras that are hardly worn/brand new with tags so they will see me through when i get round to sorting them out
Usually i spend around £30 - £40 on 1 bra so i figure if i can get away without buying any till i need nursing bra's then ive done pretty good. a couple of packs of bra extenders are the only thing ive needed and thats more for comfort on the back side of things rather than the cups getting bigger as am a generous 38G to start with :eek:0 -
Just popping on quickly to say Finn Adam arrived at 1.42 this morning weighing 7lbs8oz. I'm already home, he's a very quiet baby and has been feeding well. Will catch up properly tomorrow hope things are good for bella, mirror, skink and flower and the other boldies
