I had a terrible nights sleep last night. I tossed and turned until 5am because I was too hot amd had tummy ache I usually like the warm weather but am a bit fed up with it now as it is making me lethargic but stopping me sleeping at night!

ummm just phoned my manager to say and i am off sick and she was nice as pie! hopefully she has realised that she cant be how she has been and she has changed. i will continue to document everything incase but i think someone has given her a kick up the !!!. I did e mail HR to say i wanted to make a formal complaint and that if i had been referred to occ health on the 18th Aug as i requested then my legs wouldnt be this bad now and that i felt work had made my condition much worse. i think that may have done it!

oh well i am happy now i was worried about phoning her now i feel much better

sorry winnie no idea. I never had a show with DD1. Maybe ask the midwife.

When would be normalish to start having a show? I'm 31 today, just wondering how soon I could see one?

Lirin - I never had one with DS and I only had a bit of bleeding yesterday after my sweep, I dont think you always get one.

Jenjade - result!! hopefully eveything will be much better for you now

Still waiting for news from Elmo then - it's looking good :-) WIsh I was there but only just over 37 so still too early and have a lot to do.

Finally finished my self-employed projects YAY!!! This means I can go on 'maternity leave' now - which basically consists of cleaning this manky house. Have not had time to lift a duster in over a month. Unfortunatley, OH prefers to store his rubbish and dirty clothes on the foor so tidying means a lot of bending up and down. Must have a word with him today as the up and down-ness is killing me.

Thus far have cleaned our living/bedroom and shuffled a few bits about lol. Hoping to clean the old kitchen and dining room today. Quite a task post renovation!

Just from personal experience with DD my show was just one big lot of jelly-like mucus with some blood in it, and it happened the same day I went into labour. I'm sure it's different for everyone though so that probably isn't much help!
