I had ice cream for dinner again. Couldnt face the idea of anything else, and too tired to go shopping, and had no ice cream at home. So made DH order from Pizza hut even though he had already eaten, just so we could get ice cream delivered!

The rest of the order (pizza and potato skins) went straight to the fridge for dinner today, and the ice cream came direct to me not passing go!:rotfl:

morning all. ok so due date came and went yesterday and still no baby bah humbug, ive caught up on washing and ironing, ive been shopping and bought the sports gear my boys needed, ive fillled the freezer and fridge, i still need to do a little cleaning but apart from that im all all prepared and just waiting, argh i hate waiting lol

ooohhh hubby even shaved my lady bits last night as i havent seen them for months, i havent laughed so much in ages lol (sorry probably TMI)

Well the sweep doesnt seem to have worked, not had any pains at all. Looks like next friday is gonna be the day!

Hoping for a bit of a cooler day, but dont think thats gonna happen haha had to sleep with the fan on last night, which helped and I got a pretty decent nights sleep.

morning all,

Today and i have phoned the doctors and i have asked for a doctor to ring me. It is a different doctor to the one i saw thurs. i am going to ask him to sign me off for 2 weeks until i have seen occ health etc. fingers crossed it works. i am going to tell hime the doctor i saw thurs was going to sign me off but was concerned my mat leave may start if i was off sick and i have now looking into that and they cant do that until later in the pregnancy.

i need to be signed off sick for 2 weeks more than anything at the moment. hopefully then i can complain about manager and get that sorted and se occ health

Went to Mothercare as planned. Don't mean to sound uncaring, but it feels weird buying things for someone I haven't met yet.... We bought a change mat, and an electric steriliser marked down to £29- it caught my eye mainly because it was black with flowers, and every other one on display was pink or blue....
Also bought a wraparound style top and a green dress! My only gripe- what sadistic person when planning the Belfast store decided to put maternity clothing up two flights of steep stairs? DH got warned not even to laugh. The consequences would not be nice.....
The end result though is we got some nice stuff in other shops, but I think it'll be the last time we do a big shopping marathon- I'm feeling it today. On the upside, as soon as I hit the sofa I was asleep.

oh my god the doc just phoned that was very quick! He is lovely! He has signed me off for 2 weeks!!!!!! I was so happy and relieved that i cried for a bit when i got off the phone. will phone work later and tell manager i am signed off and this time i will use the dictaphone to record it!

lirin that is my real gripe when baby, maternity or toy shops have an upstairs! I hate it when you have a bump or a buggy who wants to try and get up and down stairs also when they dont have toilets i think all mothercare type shops should have a toilet. i was bursting last time and had to leave my shopping to find a toilet
