Oh Lirin, how annoying is that, the ELC should be upstairs! Same with Mamas & Papas!

I got a pair of maternity jeans from New Look, and that was it yesterday, oh and some Soothers from Boots and nappy cream for the change bag. As the one I'd bought for the house is huge.

Well I'm up bright and early and ready for today, excited to see him again

Well all my pains stopped last night and I had a lovely full nights sleep :mad: so I jumped DH before he went to work this morning I've since had more show and the pains in my back are back...not getting my hopes up today though! Planning to thoroughly clean the house today and see if that helps any. Might also bake a cake coz things always get in the way of me finishing a cake lol!

So far all I've achieved is a load of washing, 3 cups of coffee, a packet of biscuits and two episodes of Spooks :rotfl:

Morning girls,

Sounds like it's Happy Friday for the most part with babies, good docs, shopping sprees etc. Long may it continue.

We are finally moving out of my parent's tomorrow and into a lovely flat to cat/flat sit for our friend before getting into our own place on the 15th Oct - yippee! Can't wait to have our own place again... Need to practice our hypnobirthing stuff as well as perineal massage and we haven't DTD since we've been home (5 weeks) - funny how being across the hall from your dad can put you off things like that!

I too was wondering where Wonder Womble has been? Hope she's ok?

Got loads of blood tests later I hate them.

OH's work situation has perked up a bit (not sure if you recall me whinging about the sporadicness of it a couple of days ago). Perhaps I do need to relax and just let it fall into place? But I'm such a planner (control freak?!) I prefer things to be certain rather than maybes.

Ooh, also - going to an NCT nearly new sale tomorrow... Anyone been? Reckon it's worth it? There's a goody bag for the first 300 people - wonder what that's like, or am I silly to think it's any more than promo leaflets?

Winnie - hope this is it for you I know what you mean about getting your hopes up, I have accepted that baby will be coming next friday or saturday by induction and I am very happy with that

OH is still doing well in the new job, his boss has been talking about what he should be doing within the company in 6 months time ie progression so all is lookin good he is really putting in the hours bless him.

I agree with the toilets thing in Mothercare, both of our smaller stores have them. Just not the big one, which seems daft to me. It does have a lift though, thank goodness.

Laying there with OH's hands on my tummy when he can feel our baby wriggles inside is one of the best things in my life ever :smileyhea . I can't wait until he holds our baby for real, nearly welling up at the thought of it
