Why the  face Kira, because I'm so harsh? :p or because your mum is the same? haha.

and Gin, just tell them, I want time with MY family, I know I'm young and stuff but once baby is born me, OH and baby boy will be a family, and I don't think it's much to ask to be given time alone :o

On another note just tried to trim my bikini area and I've cut myself majorly, the blood is everywhere :( haha

It was a mock shock face... "how could you say that about your mum"..i know how, cos i'm tempted to say the same!
Oh, i love how bikini knicks bleed so much!

I agree with Gilly, Gin. Just say no! Maybe you could soften it to say i'd love to spend some time all together, but i think it would best if we had time to get into a routine ourselves first..

I can say that to my parents no problem - I learnt to deal with them. My mum starts crying, makin me feel guitly and very annoyed. She cries if she can't get what she wants, like a child, really.

It is OH family. I already argued with her over our wedding when she was visiting us (few years back) and never felt comfortable around her since. She had a cheek to tell us that I need to start taking folic acid 2 days after our wedding! And OH doesn't stem to get it that I don't want her here on my own, and she is welcome to come when he is on annual leave as well. Well, will have to wait an see what happens. I agreed that she can come, but I think both sets of grandparents need to be allowed tostay same amount of time, and not one few months whilst the others few weeks. It is going to be hard dealing with twins, but I am sure we can cope without having grandparents living with us!

No worries Gin. I can see why you are frustrated. Its hard enough getting my head around dealing with mum, and my PIL, with just one baby. With two on the way, its alot to think about!

My Parents in Law are lovely, but esp my MIL, sometimes suggests i do things that just arent what i want. She keeps telling me i should be giving up work till bean is about 5, that i should always spend the time when bean is asleep to do housework, and not take naps, and that DH shouldnt have to take leave to be with baby and i, and he shouldnt have to do night feeds or changes if he is at work and i'm not... Pah!

Hi ladies, went really well at the hospital today. the lady who did the MRI scan seems to be some sort of big expert, she's based at the hosp I went to but covers the whole of the North of ENgland and all of Scotland too! SHe said she can't see anything wrong at all. The size is still small but the brain development is fine! They still want to keep an eye on me so I have to keep going back there for regular scans as well as my normal ones at the local hospital.

The MRI was horrible but the pictures were amazing! You could see liquid in its tummy and even its little teeth that are already there buried in its gums!! She's meant to be emailing me some pics so if she does I'll try put one on here.

Lol! Not as many as me I bet! I'm 24+4 and so far I've had 8 ultrasounds and an MRI!!

Good luck for tomorrow Kira x

Excellent news Lisa, what a relief for you, LO's keeping you guys on your toes! Congrats Aimless and good luck Kira!
