I appear to have won a baby sleeping bag with a giraffe on!! Atleast I assume I won it as I certainly didn't buy it! It's turned up in the post at my parents house with no paper work and that is the only explaination!!
  • I've noticed similar sorts of pains for the first time today (I'm 22+3) - really low down. Feel unnerved but keep telling myself it's just things moving around and will keep an eye on it.

Does anyone else travel much with their jobs? I live in the North but travel down to London a lot with work. I've started going every other week since getting pregnant to try and ease things up a bit. Hate sounding all needy, but I really struggle with laptop and case etc, especially in rush hour on the train and the tube especially stations where there's no lift! I'm going down on Thursday so hope the pains ease off before then - especially as I've just read it's a Friday the 13th I'll be travelling back on!

Thinking of you tomorrow Gilly and Kira x

When I was walking to my train this evening I started getting a sharp pain where my pubic bone is. I'm pretty certain it's my pubic bone that's hurting and not my uterus or anything. It seems to be easing off now I'm sitting down (got DH to make the tea :D). I've also had some pain in my groin on and off today. Does this sound normal? I've had both of these before when pregnant and I'm not overly concerned but because my only experiences with pregnancy have been bad ones I just want some reassurance I guess :o

I'm sorry I won't keep bombarding you all with questions every time I worry :o

Maybe we are near each other because there were signalling problems on my line this afternoon too, although luckily they were fixed when I went home. It took me an hour and half to get to work this morning though due to a broken down train. Got to love northern rail :)

    xx

Sound like we might (Salford Crescent where the signaling problem was). I decided to leave earlier from work today as was very tired in the afternoon, just to get home even later than usual. I got ok to work this morning, i take an early train, leaves my station before 7am, so i can get to the office just after half seven, just l left my lunch in kitchen this morning, so had to pop to Tesco on the way to get something. It is really getting me down now, as I get up, get showered, dressed, have breakfast, get my lunch ready and leave as OH is just about to wake up (well, he wakes up when I brush my teeth - I got an electric toothbrush, not the quitest of things), and when I get home he is already home! He works 25 miles away, same as me before the office move, I used to leave just before him and get back just before him, now I leave over an hour before him, and I get home after him!

Sorry, I am ranting again. Better go to sleep...

Well at 34 weeks, they were saying she was 4lb 11oz, with a likely doubling of weight at term- so that would be about 9lb 6oz....
