Thanks everyone for the kind wishes about tomorrow, I fear Kira has a much bigger day than me though :p I think my blood pressure is a lot higher though so not sure what they'l say, will see what happens tomorrow :)

Also for the congrats about the shaving :rotfl: what a sad life I lead. Going to tackle the bikini area now

Phone call went a lot better than I expected ( I sound so horrible :o )

Sympathies on the mum front Gilly. Its not easy dealing with demanding mums sometimes. Mine is constantly on the phone offering to come down and stay at the moment, and although it sounds terrible, i really dont want her to come.. I'd be very happy to have her around for a few hours or a day at a push, but i just want alone time with DH and Bean for a while when she arrives, and having mum stay full time for 4-5 days will be too much cos she just cant step back, and in her condition, she cant be travelling so far just for a few hours. Sigh, i feel bad every time she offers and i say no.

Yours is ill though. Mines is ill in the head (I am joking but it seems like that) her and her husband (my Dad) of 20 years split up and she doesn't giving a flying f*** but a guy who's been on the scene 6 months and she's like a heart broken teenager, give me a break!

I know how you feel though, because I live so far from family I've told everyone no visits for 4 weeks :) evil cow that I am.

Sound like we might (Salford Crescent where the signaling problem was). I decided to leave earlier from work today as was very tired in the afternoon, just to get home even later than usual. I got ok to work this morning, i take an early train, leaves my station before 7am, so i can get to the office just after half seven, just l left my lunch in kitchen this morning, so had to pop to Tesco on the way to get something. It is really getting me down now, as I get up, get showered, dressed, have breakfast, get my lunch ready and leave as OH is just about to wake up (well, he wakes up when I brush my teeth - I got an electric toothbrush, not the quitest of things), and when I get home he is already home! He works 25 miles away, same as me before the office move, I used to leave just before him and get back just before him, now I leave over an hour before him, and I get home after him!

Sorry, I am ranting again. Better go to sleep...

Yup same signalling problem.:) We live about 20 miles from Manchester. It usually takes me an hour door to door. I'm hoping to get a job closer to home in march when I'm made redundant. Although I will be 16 wks ish then (hopefully) so I might not be able to be so picky :o

    Gilly!

:rotfl: Seriously, mine may be ill, but as lovely as she is, she can be a right PITA even when she isnt ill, and has been known to behave like a total teenager since she split up with my dad about 14 years ago. My friends think she is "cool and young", but they dont have to go through the "i've got a new bloke" "oh no, i finished with him AGES ago", " Oh didnt i tell you about xxx, yyy", or running off on holidays without telling anyone where she is going, when or with who!.
    Its great fun!

I need a lesson from you. Both our families were suggesting they will come to visit us at Easter time, both which we said no. I will be about 31 weeks then, and I really don't want added stress of having to deal with either parents. And when ours will come, it is going to be for a few weeks. OH is very keen to have his mum here as long as possible, as she is retired doctor (does my head in, he was talking with her yesterday, and she was going on about iron supplements, what painkillers I am on for the hip pain, etc). I asked OH to stop this, but he doesn't get it. He will be back at work and I will have to cope with her on my own, which I am not willing to do! She might be a retired doctor, but if I need one, i know where to find! There is hospital just a few miles away!

Why the  face Kira, because I'm so harsh? :p or because your mum is the same? haha.

and Gin, just tell them, I want time with MY family, I know I'm young and stuff but once baby is born me, OH and baby boy will be a family, and I don't think it's much to ask to be given time alone :o

On another note just tried to trim my bikini area and I've cut myself majorly, the blood is everywhere :( haha
