Morning all. Hope Kira is doing well today and gets her cuddles soon.

I'm gonna end up top of that list very very soon, aren't I! Sweep seems to have caused some show as expected but no obvious signs of anything happening :-( DH told the baby off for making him go to work again! I'm going to bounce on my ball as much as possible today and hope that encourages things as I am so fed up now and really sore.

My brother said last night that he keeps being told I should go for a long walk, but he's telling them I can't walk, which is pretty much true! Everything hurts and one side of my pelvis and my left leg are particularly painful all the time and worse if I move. I know this is a whinge, by the way, sorry!!

Still getting calls and texts, but not too many at the moment as people seem to be accepting that we will let them know. All our parents are nearby along with other family and friends and I have a horrible feeling we will be inundated with visitors when the baby is here but at least we can send them home again pretty quickly! I was worrying about this to my mum and she said it was fine and she and my dad would be able to send people away - err - you aren't going to be here all the time either mum! Have both her and my MIL offering to come keep me company now but I'm happier with daytime tv and the cats plus DH comes home every lunchtime.

So, 9 days overdue now. I think I may be becoming a bit grumpy... Thanks for the labour vibes though girls, it might do the trick!

Hiya, Just popping on quickly having had some brekkie. Didnt get to bed till about midnight, as the dishwasher NEEDED emptying and refilling, and the worksurfaces HAD to be wiped down, the loo cleaned, the basin cleaned, and had to finish portioning the beef in ale i'd done for the freezer etc etc etc Seriously nesting.

Slept Ok till about 4 when DH started snoring, and that was me awake till about 6.30, when i dropped off for an hour and a bit, and then got up cos the alarm was set for 8.

Bit disappointed that with all the little signs, i havent gone naturally, i reckon it would be the next day or two anyway, but hey, i'll take it as it comes. Hopefully it will just mean it wont take as long.

Good luck today Gilly, and hope your OH gets the phone sorted.

Crabapple and Eebee, good luck too, along with anyone else wanting labour vibes!

    See y'all soon !

Good luck Kira! And all the other boldies! Hugs to those that need them!

My consultant appointment went well yesterday, she said she was surprised because of my history that I had managed to get this far along, and everything to be going this well (vommitting and PGP doesn't count) As we where all expecting a very early delivery, she did say early on I wouldn't go over my due date, but I had started to get a bit paranoid about her leaving me now that's only a few weeks away. In a strange way I have been feeling like I'm already over due, as 32 weeks was the ideal target from earlier in the pregnancy, she has booked me in for a sweep in 2 weeks, so fingers crossed xxx

Anyone else feel weird/wrong for wanting the baby out, knowing it is better inside?

I never "dropped" with DD1 or DD2, as they were back to back so didnt engage! I still went into natural labour tho so dont worry! DD3 managed to get herself into 3/5 engaged, but was still back to back lol, so not sure how she managed it?? (guessing the previous babies had stretched it all out for her haha!)
I am so so so tired today :( slept 11-1 am, then awake til 2, got another hour, then awake for 30 mins, Dh was snoring from 4 so i listened to that for ages, fell asleep at just before 5, and DD3 was up from 5.10 :( i`d just like to get more than 2 hours at a time, or even a few lots of 2 hours actually would do me fine right now!!

Hello all, well appointment went reasonably well, he's went from 2/5 engaged to not engaged at all, little monkey, BUT he's estimating a more reasonable 6 and a half pounds, which I'm quite chuffed with to be fair. I know it's still a lot at 36 weeks but it's a lot better than I expected it to be.

So mad at OH right now, so so so so angry, I'm crying more than anger at the minute though. Was supposed to come to my appointment with me, woke me up at 2am to say "oh I can't come with you I need to study" He has an exam today fair enough, BUT he's known about it for weeks, and I kept asking him will you definitely be able to come, make sure you're organised etc, and he's just not bothered his behind. So I was a bit !!!!ed off and hated going alone because they're always running late and I had to sit for ages on my own, while everyone else had someone with them. I come home try to tell him about my appointment and he basically tells me to eff off because he has no time to listen to me, don't I understand he has to study. :( !!!!!!?

On a plus note, my GHD's came :)

Gin Sadly I upgraded to one of those super duper phones which don't allow you to save the numbers to sim, you save them to "back up" some internet thing, that Orange have decided isn't working. I want my old crappy phone back :o

  • Morning ladies.

    Good luck Kira.

Had midwife appt this morning, first one there so on time for once.

Bump is 3/5 engaged and measuring 39cm so good on that front.

But midwife says there's protein in my urine, so she's sent it off for testing.

She's told me to keep an eye out for swelling. Anything else I should be looking out for?

    Worried now :( x
