Haha Ro! I`m really shocked its here already! Good job i told DH i`d ordered it last night and not waited til 2moro as i was going to do lol!

We got one as our wedding gift (I did put it in the list). I got a Tefal 3-in-1, so it is a rice cooker, slow cooker and steamer. I love it! It was not the cheapest one, but it works great. And the rice function is very useful too, as is the steaming for us, although we don't use very often, it does come out out of its cupboard time from time.

Right, have had my sweep although the midwife didn't get here until 1.45 so I was going crazy thinking she would ring saying there wasn't time.

Very strange getting a description of what state your cervix is in! Anyway, procedure not the most fun I've ever had but not really painful and was talking to them through it and got told I was very relaxed given what she was doing.

Student midwife was watching palpation of bump beforehand and said she hadn't done any yet, but they make them practice on cushions!!

Now (tmi alert) bleeding and cramping a little. Really hoping this will do the trick but have to ring the surgery for an appointment for friday in case there's no change.

Emmylou - Its a good job u fessed up to oh!!
I  the grabbit board but it does stress me out knowing whether gonna get my bargain or not. The shadow version had gone off the website now just the pebble left!! I do actually like the flower pattern as its different rather than being just plain.

    Hey everyone,

Still reading back but thought I'd add a bit about pelvis pain. Around 16 weeks, I was in a lot of pain and thought that by the end of the pregnancy, I'd end up virtually crippled if it was SPD, although my pain never really got any worse than it was at 16 weeks, so if you're struggling with pains already, I thought this might give you some hope :)

I'm trying not to get too excited! I have to go in for 10.30am. They say the first stage (the hormone ribbon) is upto about 24 hours, or however long it takes up to 24hrs. If after 24hrs it hasnt worked, then they will try with the gel. When either has worked (at dilating and effacing me), then they may give me a drip with hormone to get the contractions going. So, all in all, realistically, it may take till Thurs or Friday!!

I'm hoping though that as there has been some plug etc, the ribbon will work quickly.
