Thanks Bluebell I'm excited about seeing baby again, because he's there or there abouts his final size, he won't fit on the screen :rotfl: I've had so many scans honestly, if I get pregnant again, I'll be thinking I'm deprived.

Gin, GIRAFFE!!!!! Do they do those in cotbeds? Not that OH would let me have it, he said our boy is going to have a giraffe and elephant obsession, we bought him a teddy elephant from M&P and I bought a Dumbo with a blue flag from the Disney Store the other day (it was reduced from £19, to £8) I couldn't help myself.

I cannot stop eating today, it's ridiculous.

I've spent this morning decluttering the living room, we have so much rubbish in this house, it's unreal! Stuff just gets shoved into corners and ignored... Plus I've done two loads of washing today, all the babygrows and bits we got given as presents at my baby shower at the weekend, plus my stash of muslin cloths. So I have decided that I have earned an afternoon of feet up on sofa, I think I'm going to get my knitting out. Haven't touched it for months, but I started a baby blanket before Christmas and I'd love to finish it before Pip arrives!

It is a Polish manufacturer (Klups) from what I found out, but then I don't think these are going to be any worse than any others, possibly made in Chine or where ever else!

And talking about giraffe & elephant - I was saying to OH that we should have a giraffe and elephant painted in the room, as I call OH giraffe sometimes (long neck - so takes time to 'digest' what is said to him) or elephant (big ears, but can't hear!). We have soft toy Eric the Elephant - he was with us for a while, I think it was one from one of the Boots deals few years back.

I'm the same with Tutti Bambini, there stuff is adorable, I love there sleigh cot bed, but it's about £360 :eek: or something similar so I won't be getting it any time soon.

I'm planning on getting the last bits put in the hospital bag this afternoon, camera charged etc. Tidying up the kitchen after messing it up all morning and sorting out the last of the baby clothes. Apparently can't put bibs in the dryer, so will have to put them on the clothes horse. Is this nesting? :eek: Thought it would never come.

Ooh Oooh at that furniture *twitches* Think I could possibly order it, assemble it without OH finding out and then say TA DA you're stuck with it. Maybe not...

I love it, not so keen on the dark wood, but I'd get over it for the giraffes. Oh dear I'm a maniac.

Pressure cookers will cook things super quick (well, a casserole thats usually 2-3 hours can be done in 30-40mins), slow cookers are well, slow! But hands off and easy as well. I think people generally find one or other suits their lifestyle better. I like being able to get slow meals done quicker, as it gives you more options when you are time poor, curries, casseroles etc, instead of reverting to pasta all the time! Slow cookers are ideal if you want to be able to bung something one, and come back to it hours later, which was more ideal when i used to do shift work.
In fact, this has got me thinking of getting ours out this afternoon and cooking a batch of beef in ale in it, so i dont have to stand over the cooker, then i'll portion it and put the mash on as another freezer dish.

Speaking of nesting, its getting silly. Went to the kitchen for some squash, and ended up polishing the kettle. Hmmm!

Haha Ro! I`m really shocked its here already! Good job i told DH i`d ordered it last night and not waited til 2moro as i was going to do lol!
I LOVE my slow cooker Gilly! I paid £6 in argos last yr and its been used loads! Altho i would 2nd the big pot, slow heat idea. There so much u can do, even puddings in it!
I cant recall who asked about the moses basket upstairs/downstairs? We have the one basket, which will be carried up and down every night/morning! I have the 1 stand which will go upstairs, and havent quite decided what to do downstairs yet, might have to get another stand. Havent got a cot yet, or even thought about one! Really like the idea of a white one this time
Gin, i love that cot! I also love elephants, esp blue ones got a blue blanket, comforter thing in tesco yesterday with a elephant head for £4! xx

emmylou - I might have to go to Tesco now..... Unfortunately don't have one on the way home from the train station. Besides - we don't know the flavours yet, so don't want to shock OH with getting things in different colours...
