How on earth did you get £350 of points!?! Oh that's a shame if you'd have to pay in full with points, couldn't really justify it then.

Quite a few years of saving... And they used to have a few points glitches as well, which I took advantage off. All the Christmas shopping points. I haven't spent much recently, but I did treat a friend to a perfume in April and that was the last purchase with points. I always saved them thinking it is going to be this month, well, it is 4 years later and my balance has grown in the meantime...

I was the same, I've spent over £200 worth of points since November. Have £6 now :( it's horrible to look at.

At least with baby purchases if you're in the parent club, you get 10 points per £1 :D

I think that is one reason I am reluctant to spend them. And I don't think I will dare to spend them on the nappies when I know I get 10p for every £1 spent on them!

Thanks Crabapple. Hopefully it will all happen for you quickly now as well.

LOL at the name thing. DH and I have both refused to tell anyone our names, as all being quite opinionated, none of the family would feel they had to hold back from their opinions, so its going to be a fait accompli.. I suspect we will still get a few comments, like, " why xxxxxx" or " isnt that a bit yyyyyyy", or "do you think it would sound better if zzzzzzzz " but thats a bit tough really!

This is exactly what we are doing as well. Our families are far to free with their opinions, whereas if you tell them once the babies are born, then they cant really comment (hopefully) :o

I'm going to be honest, I didn't spend any of them on baby things, mostly Christmas presents :( I'm sure I'll build them up again though.

Don't know about the mobile with the angelcare i'm afraid. I've bought a few Kiddopotamus swaddles, as they are good at staying closed, and not unraveling if you have a wiggly baby..

Ok watched OBEM last night. Bit late I know ;-) Hubby sat there and sneaked looks around his laptop screen. Think he may, but didnt look to see, have had a tear or 2. I was nearly screaming at the tv for that baby to cry! I hate it when they do that. Gosh had tears at that one for sure. Her man needed a kick up the butt for being a miserable sod. And oh the poor guy that only got 24 hrs with his babe. Geeeeeeeeeeeze. So sad.

Kurt wouldn't have been able to cope in the theatre IMO - can you imagine how he would have reacted when the consultant had to get the forceps out and then when the baby didn't breathe or cry immediately! Doesn't bear thinking about!!

For swaddling the baby, have a look at the book "Baby-gami".

We bought this for a few of the friends, and they all said it was very useful.

Also what mobiles did people buy? We're considering buying one for our crib, but it'l obviously have to be small, and not too heavy as it's for the crib. Some of them are huge machines
