Hi Kira, I'm pretty sure Lirin was a 0 on the Bishop Scale, and her induction went really well, so hopefully that will perk you up a bit
xx
Thanks Gilly. That does make me feel a bit better..:)
Was feeling a bit of a failure earlier, what with everyone ringing all the time and pointing out how late i am and why isnt there any movement.. Yesterday Step mum was complaining that she couldnt send her christmas/New year updates out until ive had the baby, as she wants to announce that she is a grandma in it, and its going to be mid Jan now before people get them.... GrrrrMarried 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Selfish woman! I am sure you should be the priority over her wishing to announce she is a grandma!!!!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

There isn't any movement because you've made such a great home for your little girl for the past 9 months she doesn't want to emerge into the big bad world, filled with annoying peopleThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Congratulations Cloudberry. Hope things settle down for you soon.Great, just saw a beautiful cot on Boots.com, but not sure OH will let me spend that much money on them (since we need 2!!!), but maybe if I pay with my points I can get him to agree...
Oh that is lovely. Can you buy it in store as I don't think you can use points online? I'd be tempted by that myself actually, I have £51 of points to use up, actually have another £21 as my grandad gave me his advantage card when he went to live with mum, although I don't know if they'd let me use two cards!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I was just told by 4nabella and Gilly that we can but I think you have to have enough points to pay in full. (Jsut checked my Boots account online and it is showing that I have 0 points! Hope there is just a mistake on the system, as last time I was in the shop, there definitely was over£350!)Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I don't think they'd let you use 2 cards in the one purchase I think the total has to come off one card, as you can't pay half with gift card half with advantage card iyswim? The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

How on earth did you get £350 of points!?! Oh that's a shame if you'd have to pay in full with points, couldn't really justify it then.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Glad they've got a plan for you Kira, and ignore the step-mother. She could easily send out letters saying she is about to become a grandmother rather than implying you are inconveniencing her.
The Christmas update letter always worries me as mum will never show me what she has sent out to all our relatives! She did at least tell me that this year it included news of my wedding in May and that the baby was due. My brother cleverly waited until two days before Christmas to get engaged to his gf - I guess his wedding and my baby will be the big news for next year, and I'll be left out of it!
DH's step-mum is the only person who cannot accept that we won't tell people what we are going to call the baby, and bangs on about why can't she know every time we see her (doesn't help that she's usually drunk or on the way to it so will keep on asking). No-one but me and DH know and she won't be first to find out. We've had far too much fun winding family up with a list of increasingly unsuitable names! That said, my mum has told me she is practising schooling her expression for if she doesn't like it.:heartpuls Daughter born January 2012 :heartpuls Son born February 2014 :heartpuls

Thanks Crabapple. Hopefully it will all happen for you quickly now as well.
LOL at the name thing. DH and I have both refused to tell anyone our names, as all being quite opinionated, none of the family would feel they had to hold back from their opinions, so its going to be a fait accompli.. I suspect we will still get a few comments, like, " why xxxxxx" or " isnt that a bit yyyyyyy", or "do you think it would sound better if zzzzzzzz " but thats a bit tough really!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!
