Flutter, don't worry, I went breech between 32-34 weeks, they have plenty of time to turn and can still turn in the last couple of days/hours

Hello, quick question for anyone who knows anything about buying cloth/reusable nappies second-hand...

Someone at work is selling the following:

    18 motherease nappies
    8 motherease pop in boosters
    8 motherease wraps in m - xl

6 or 8 nappies with 2 kooshies wraps

4 all in ones from boots
    1 lollipop all in one

    6 x packs of 100 disposable liners.
    nappy bucket

I asked how much she wanted and she said she was just after an offer, as she's keen to clear some space - and I know she's been trying to sell them for a couple of months at least.

Can anyone advise as to what would be a reasonable offer to make? Obviously I'm after a bargain - but equally we do work in the same place (big organisation so we don't actually know each other, but you never know in future...!) so I don't want to come out with a ridiculously low offer.

Any thoughts, you knowledgeable bunch, you?!

    Thanks

    BB x

    Thanks Ravenlady. I have a Hb - 14.3 so I think that's about right?

It id hb on mine too. From what i found when i looked it up, a pregnancy level in the 14's is actually pretty good! I've not had iron flagged as a problem at all and my scores have all been 12's and 13's.

I think the problem/risk for you is you don't want to fork out too much and find those ones dont suit you and LO. So whilst there is alot of stuff there, its a risky investment for you esp as it sounds like they are bigger sizes you can't use immediately. Call me tight, but i would use that as your reasoning to offer about £40. I bought a big lot on ebay inc smaller ones and more wraps and boosters for £35, and then a few more bits on top.
    Others may disagree of course!

*Ro*, that pain u describe on ur right rib is very normal, and B****y painful!! I had it at the end with DD1, and its come on sooner with every pregnancy. It also will spread thru to ur right shoulder blade if it gets really bad. Paracetamol can help tho :) plus, u`ve not got long left yay!! xx
Annabella, my belly button was always an outy, until i had DD3, after her its since been an inny (extra fat lol) and my scar from stupid belly bar is looking a bit like a firework atm with all the stretch marks coming off of it!
Has anyone else seen on the grabbit board about the Ottoman from Very?? I`ve just ordered 2 ;)
OBEM, i felt like that lad needed a good smack round the chops, they should have told him to leave the ward the way he was behaving. And as for his gf sucking her thumb, urgh, ur gonna be a mum, GROW UP!!!!!! Rant over ;)
A friends cousin had to deliver his baby in the car a few days ago as his wfe had such a quick labour, shame i cant book one of those haha!! xx

    Afternoon Ladies and Bumps,

I watched OBEM last night too, Kurt was really annoying. Manic one moment and then down in the depths os despair the next. DH seemed to think he might have minor MH issues perhaps. Bethany seemed to be OK though, a little immature and perhaps may come to outgrow him sometime in the future.

I was holding my breath waiting for the monster baby to breathe though! 10 lb 10 oz!!! OMG, my friends daughter was this weight and that baby looked mahoosive!

I loved that the other couple (can't recall their names) got to meet their daughter before he had to go on tour!

    Roll on next week :)

    How's everyone?

My Seraphine clothes order has arrived, but I didn't dare opening yet. It is a courtesy for MIL - she dedicated a generous amount for me to get some clothing that would take me through the pregnancy, so I did - I ordered nearly £400 worth from Seraphine, but don't worry - I am not keeping it all! I ordered everything in two sizes, as I am not sure how will they fit. I think I will wait until the evening to open it, so I can try things on with OH here and he can give me his opinion. I really hope the trousers will fit well, as I really need smart trousers for work - I got a pair from New Look, but they are getting rather uncomfortable and the waist band is roling, not staying straight, which is not comfortable. I think I prefer the over bump stuff much more, so fingers crossed.

Well, I shall be taking my raspberry leaf in capsule form from now on... Just tried it as a tea to see what it's like and it's grim! :D

I think it depends on which tea you try. I have some loose leaf organic stuff, which tastes nothing like raspberry, and has a smokey taste rather like lapsang souchong. I have also tried the Clipper version which Missymoo sent me some of, and that was quite nice- i think they had added raspberry flavour and pink colour!
