    Thank u Jenjade :) xx
Lost count of how many people have said to me in the last 2 days "ooh u cant have long left now" and then look horrified when i say "yes, more than 7 weeks still!" Today has to have been one of the worst days so far with my hips and how stiff i am. Really cant see how on earth i`m going to manage another 7 and a half, possibly 9 and a half weeks of this :(
Glad u have an iduction date :)
I was told DD3 was going to be about 6lb8oz on her due date, she came 3 days late, and was 8lb 14oz! So predicted sizes arent always anywhere near lol! xx

How often Asda do baby events?... I am just wondering if I have to get OH to agree on stocking up at this one, or can we wait for the next. We still don't know answer from his job interview before Christmas, if it is a yes, he might be tempted to take it, and that is moving abroad, so wouldn't like to stock up on tons of nappies and to transport them with me!

This is the 3rd one i think since i got my BFP, could have been literally just as i found out last time. So i`m sure they do at least 2 if not 3 a yr. Usually tho, if u wait until the "big event" is over, stuff goes really cheap, they had car seats for less than a tenner last yr. and travel cots and baby bouncers were all really cheap too.

Random activity of the day... DH just weighed our 18 month old cat, to see how that compares to bean as he couldnt picture/imagine in his head what i'm hefting at present. It would appear that i am likely to be currently carrying around the equivalent of 1.2 x our chunky little bombay asian self.:rotfl:

DH is now suitably understanding of why i am moaning and groaning all the time.

Hello, quick question for anyone who knows anything about buying cloth/reusable nappies second-hand...

Someone at work is selling the following:

18 motherease nappies Sandies sm go for about £2 each, lg go for about £3-4 each, the one sized nappies can get anything from £1.50 each to £4 depending on if they are the organic cotton, coloured nappies or the staydry version
8 motherease pop in boosters Probably about £2 for all of them
8 motherease wraps in m - xl Airflow wraps in good condition can easily go for £5 or more each if they are the printed ones, plain white about £2 each

6 or 8 nappies with 2 kooshies wraps you would need paying to take these

4 all in ones from boots Again you would need paying to take these
1 lollipop all in one About £4

    6 x packs of 100 disposable liners. About £5
    nappy bucket About £3

I asked how much she wanted and she said she was just after an offer, as she's keen to clear some space - and I know she's been trying to sell them for a couple of months at least.

Can anyone advise as to what would be a reasonable offer to make? Obviously I'm after a bargain - but equally we do work in the same place (big organisation so we don't actually know each other, but you never know in future...!) so I don't want to come out with a ridiculously low offer.

Any thoughts, you knowledgeable bunch, you?!

    Thanks

    BB x

Motherease do retain good value compared to the 'onelife' nappy which is a very similar design but they are not as good as motherease, the airflow wraps are amazing, nothing gets through those!! The rikki wrap is also good.

What happens at an Asda baby event?
The nearest Asda to me is a huge Walmart one about 20 minutes away, not been to a baby event before so not sure if it I will want to go?

At our ante-natal class they got a pair of tights and put in it items to represent the approximate weights of the baby, placenta, fluids, extra uterus etc. All the guys then had a go at holding it and really appreciated how much we were all carrying around. I've had a lot more sympathy and appreciation since then and DH was pretty good anyway!!

Last night he was asking me if the baby when born would weigh as much as one of our cats. Guess it's a nice easy comparison!

Scared by the tales here of not getting sweeps - really hoping I'll be 'ripe' enough for one tomorrow and the midwife last week did say they'd discuss it with me, but I'll only be 40+4. That said, at least I've been measuring average on growth scans and bump so I'm hoping she'll not be more than 8lb yet.

Having a lot of BH this evening, but still no sign of an actual baby...
