  • Thanks for your post 'make me wise', believe me I posed the question because I am bothered by it and understand how it would look to others, I don't want to be that 'woman' who puts up with bizarre behaviour, and her other half staring at everything that walks past! I know it makes me feel a little uncomfortable which is why I will most definately be talking about it the next time it happens. I have been thinkinking about why I didn't confront at the time and I think it's because we are always away somewhere nice on a break away, that's when I have picked up on it an to be honest it's still fairly casual although getting serious I just didn't want to say just before we are headed for a lovely evening/excursion or whatever. I am no pushover but I also don't like to make my own holiday awkward..maybe for some that is just like hiding away from the truth or may make people feel I am not being honest to myself or him. I would rather jve a discussion on home turf where if needs be I can be feisty and head back to my own home my own space! Thank you all for your comments! It's not acceptable and it us disrespectful and I won't be putting up with it!

That's pretty bizarre behaviour by any standard, why on earth do you let him do that?

Errata, I don't LET him do it! Normally I haven't even noticed someone else has glanced, he is quite tactile but he normally says that guy is staring at you! It is odd I agree but I don't want to over analyse it as so much can be read into it.
  • So he goggles at other women but the minute he notices other men staring at you he rushes to put his arms around you....almost like marking his territory

    BIG RED FLAG

If he notices other men doing it to you then there is NO WAY that he doesnt realise what he is doing.

What a !!!!ing hypocrite. Its also a sign that he could be quite possesive and controlling as well as chauvinistic.

If it were me i would be binning him and chalking it up to experience and it would make me more wary of getting involved with someone in the future.

I think every time he 'wanders' you could say, pointing to the best looking or most expensively dressed etc man there, ' I think that bloke is looking at me' and keep saying it all the time, maybe with a fluttering of the eye lashes towards to other man and see what he does. Once you have made your point dump the idiot! sounds creepy to me

IMO you need to decide where you stand because right now it appears you're happy to share your body with him but not what's on your mind. Try reversing that. That may seem harsh, but it's the reality.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

He sounds like a disrespectful prat to be honest!

Your worth more than that - get shot of him whilst you still can!

Out of intrest, did his wife get shot of him because of his wandering eye?

Sounds like one day you will get that dreaded knock on the door and he has been caught with green m &s nickers on in the local lorry park..good luck
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
  • Thanks for the comments everyone and for taking the time to reply to my post! Input appreciated!
