We are talking about subsequent deposits, once the account is open (and funded) before the account was withdrawn from sale.
No.
My initial deposit (for more than the minimum opening amount) had been accepted, cleared and entered up.
It was a subsequent deposit that was returned.0 -
When you're logged on, it should confirm (under "my esavings account", "account information") what the account name is, ie "esaver plus, issue 2).
Ah, Yes indeed.....thanks
My account is declared to be a "Esaver Issue 1(Fixed)" - which was certainly not what I have on my copy paperwork - so someone at the Notts has indeed opened the wrong account type.
That might explain everything - and why the additional deposit was returned.
I've received a secure message back to my raising this issue saying that they are looking into this as a matter of urgency and are treating it as a formal complaint.0 -

Hope they get it sorted for you.

I did ask them this when I opened the account as their T&Cs say that wef from November transfers in would be complete within 24 hours, but they "didn't know".
Have tried a £1 transfer out, and it's gone by BACS.0 -

If you hadn't said that Nottingham had e-mailed telling you that nothing further would be accepted, I would have suggested that maybe you sent the subsequent deposits from a different bank account, in which case under Nottingham's Ts & Cs they will be rejected.0 -

See my post 63 above which covers what I pretty sure the Notts have actually done rather than what they should have done - they are currently "investigating" waht has happened.
I'll let you all know the result.0 -
Thanks. I now see what you mean!0

My £1 test was sent on 2 November and arrived at Halifax on 3 November.0 -
Yes, payments out of Nottingham accounts seem to appear in the recipient account within 1 day.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.
We belong to the Earth0
