We decided 3 ds was plenty for us,not that we dont love them we do,they are 21 18 17,I asked dr when i ws 29 to be sterlised she asked why you are very young what would you do if one of your children had an accident or you an your husband split up
1'having another child if something happened to one of mine would never replace any of them
2,if oh an i split up i still wouldnt want anymore
so i was sterlised age 29

I love all my boys to distraction they make me laugh cry scream,
ive never been broody i am more than happy with the 3 im lucky to have

its lovely hubby an i can have time for us again
It's an honour having such a lovely family and being welsh, what more could a girl want :rotfl:
  • I am 30 and have a 5 year old. we have agreed that no way are we in a position to have another child. BUT i still hope we can, i brush it off that iv just got my sleepness nights back and some freedom...obviousley not 100% true...i dont want hubby feeling guilty about it.

i do feel the clock ticking, and little one does ask for a sister ALL the time, so that does'nt help!
  • I love children, but now mine are older, I love my independance.
    (youngest is 14)

My grandson is 7 and wears me out! i'm glad to hand him back when he has been to stay.

I couldn't cope with another baby and cuddling my friend's baby is enough for me. I can hand him back when he fills his nappy!
  • I keep reading the thread title as "Putting your childbeating days behind you"
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

I don't have any children, and have never wanted any, so it's not something I can comprehend. However, my sister loves kids and having decided three of her own was enough, now fosters toddlers!

My cats fulfill my maternal instincts.
