You may be entitled to claim income-based Employment and Support Allowance if you do not have enough money coming in, or you have not paid enough National Insurance contributions, and you satisfy the entitlement conditions.
This means that you have savings of less than £16,000 and, if you have a partner or civil partner, they work for less than 24 hours a week on average.

i have no savings but my husband has a full time job, so basically no, i wouldnt get anything if this comes to fruit. I seriously dont know whether its worth asking the ESA to look at my case again and see if I can get in the support group Ive been told by both my M.E specialist and my OT that there is no way I could go back to work as it would wipe me out completely, most likely sticking me in bed for an unknown period of time.
