    Hi Mummy

Thanks for popping by, I'm at £1.40 now - I'm getting at least 6 surveys a day, funny how they all disappeared when I was close to payout.
A christmas shopping day will hopefully be on the agenda but DH is struggling to get a day off work so I might have to go on my own.

    Good Evening

The house is lovely and clean, the ironing is upto date and all the washing has been done. I only need to iron a few bits of school uniform tomorrow and I'll be a happy bunny!

The log burning stove is lit and theres a bottle of red wine just warming in front of it, steak, chips and salad for dinner followed by an evening of watching my Friends dvd.

I've seen my Mum and Gran today and tomorrow morning will be spent sorting out the budget for 2012. I'm also going to bake a cake, make some thai butternut squash soup and bake some bread.

I've started to do some market research for my business and I'm quite surprised (in a pleasant way) of the fees that are been charged. I'll get Christmas sorted and then give it some more thought.

Hope everyone has a lovely evening xxx

    Good Afternoon

I'm now ebayed out - I've spent 3 hours listing on ebay so hopefully will get rid of some more clutter out of the house.

We've had thai pumpkin soup and hm bread for lunch and theres just enough left for DH and my lunch tomorrow. Its HM cannelloni with a roasted pepper and tomato couscous with salad for dinner tonight, no doubt DS will find something to moan about. Hopefully he won't moan about the chocolate cake desert!

Its been a lazy day today, just need to iron a few school items and make some pack ups and then I can relax tonight.

The 2012 budget hasn't been worked on yet but I can do this one evening in the week, I just thought I'd focus on ebay listings today.

Hope everyones having a lovely Sunday xxx

Hi allym464 - did you want to pinch my cannelloni receipe, if so here it is

    Minced beef
    Finely chop an onion
Blitz some chopped tomatoes in the magimix (I do this because I have a fussy DS)
    Crush a clove of garlic
    Salt and pepper
A splash of red wine (optional)
    A sprinkling of dried thyme
Fry it all together and turn the heat right up to get rid of most of the moisture - took me about 15minutes

Stuff the mixture into cannelloni tubes or fresh lasagna sheets and roll up

    Arrange in a dish
Pour cheese sauce over the top
Sprinkle some more cheese over the top
Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 200 degree celcius or until the pasta is soft and the sauce is bubbling

    HTH

    Good Afternoon (just)

I didn't want to get out of bed this morning - dark, no birds were singing and it was Monday morning!

Dinner was a success last night, just a tad moaning from DS that it was really lasagna that I was serving up to him but apart from that the kids and DH gobbled it up. There is even some cannelloni left over for today for DHs lunch.

Another busy day today, just trying to catch up from the last couple of weeks.

I feel so tired today and I have some lovely dark circles under my eyes, I need to start switching off properly when I go to bed and not churn thoughts over in my head. They're all good thoughts, no worries but I do need to learn to relax. I suppose it doesn't help that I use my laptop right up until going to bed so I need to switch it off on an evening and just read a book or watch tv.

A NSD today hopefully, I need to get a couple of birthday presents for a couple of parties that the kids are attending at the weekend but can do that tomorrow, more expense. I suppose I should be grateful that they are now attending less parties each year now and hence have to buy less presents.

Dinner tonight is beef stroganoff, mashed potato and vegetables followed by chocolate cake. The school uniforms were ironed last night so that should do for the ironing until later in the week.

Hope everyone has a lovely Monday.
  • Cannelloni sounds delish Choo, might have to try that sometime. Tonights dinner sounds yum too!!

Hope you manage to get some decent sleep soon. I have been having broken nights for over a week now and its an absolute killer!! I woke up at 4.30am this morning with a bunged up nose, fed up of the colds now!!

    Catch up soon xx

    Good Morning

Mummy - I slept so much better last night, thank you x

Last nights dinner was a big success, both kids wolfed it down and asked for seconds - amazing! No picking, poking or moaning, call it a fancy name and its a hit.

Anyway onto today, I slept so much better last night. I worked until 8.30pm and then had a lovely warm bath whilst reading my book, put my jimmies on and then watched I'm a Celebrity. No laptop on knee or blackberry in hand just pure switch off from it all and it worked a treat. Must do this every night and go to bed when eyes start to close whilst watching tv. Easier said than done when its lovely and warm downstairs but needs must.

I still struggled to get out of bed this morning though, dark mornings are a killer. I can see some blue skies today which is an improvement on yesterday I think I suffer from SAD as I felt really depressed yesterday and generally bleurgh but feel brighter today and somehow more optimistic.

Moneywise - I need to buy a birthday present today for DS friend and post an Ebay package.

I need to have a quick tidy round when I get home as no-one seems to tidy up after themselves, its clean and dust free but needs a tidy.
I also need to do a quick calculation of the grocery budget and compile a list to reflect my remaining budget for this month. DH gets paid on Friday 25th so need to shop frugally.

Hope everyone has a lovely day xxxx

    Good Morning

What a week - incredibly busy work week, no downtime whatsover! I am having to get up and work at 6.30am every morning and then sort the kids and go into work, not good at the moment. Hopefully by the end of next week I shall be back on an even keel again!

Anyway today is a much needed day off so the plan for today is as follows:

Clean the house top to bottom
    Get the washing upto date
    Post an ebay parcel

I'm meeting up with some friends tonight but driving so at least I won't be hungover tomorrow and won't ruin the whole day tomorrow.

Topcashback have finally paid out after 6 months, budget has gone abit over this month but with abit of rejigging, quidco, ebay, TCB payments etc I think we should be ok and be able to start December on an even keel. Its a plus point by been busy at work, it stops me spendig money.

Christmas shopping has taken a back seat at the moment, it will happen and I'm not stressing about it. I'll get a big list together one day and just do it all in one day and then of course theres good old internet shopping if I get really desperate.

    Right let the housework commence!

    Ok a little update

Clean the house top to bottom - downstairs is done, I ran out of steam/enthusiasim by lunchtime
Get the washing upto date - done and all out on the line
Post an ebay parcel - packaged up and I shall do this now before I pick the kids up

I am now going to pick the kids up and then get in the bath when I get home to beautify myself for this evening. Not very MSE but I'm going to put the heating on now so we'll all get home to a nice warm house.

I lost all enthusiasm for housework by lunchtime so I haven't done much this afternoon, feels abit of a wasted afternoon but was much needed.

    Catch up soon xxx
  • Hi Choo, I think its totally acceptable that you cleaned this morning and had the afternoon off!! You deserve it after being up at 6.30am all week working!!

    Enjoy your night out xx
