Morning Choo,
Sounds like had a busy day ahead yesterday. I hope you shared out some of your jobs with DH .
Hope you can chill a bit today xxMummytogirls x0 -
Arggh just done a massive post and lost it - will re-post later when I've done my jobs xx0

Ok I'm back, just having some elevenses in the midst of all my jobs to do
Its been a manic week, workwise - all the work that dropped out from the meeting has taken ages to do due to unforseen problems so I've had a couple of work at home days this week and stayed very focussed on getting the job done and not washing the kitchen floor etc. Anyway after a few late nights, stressful days etc its almost all done and will just need a few finishing touches on Monday when I go back into the office.
I don't cope with that sort of pressure very well and have now developed a sore throat and exhaustion but will refresh, recharge and re-focus over the weekend.
Despite the massive workload this week I've managed to keep on top of the ironing and washing, done a quick tidy round every so often so homelife isn't in too bad a shape either which is good.
The kids Halloween party went well although I would never agreed to it had I known about my workload for this week - mad, rushing home from work and then entertaining kids, providing food etc, numerous trick or treaters at the door etc. Oh well its over for another year and the kids had a fab time.
Grocery budget isn't looking too bad this month, I've managed to underspend for the last 2 weeks so I'm happy with that, must stop popping to the shops inbetween big shops as this is where the budget gets blown.
I received a free sample of teabags the other day with a money off voucher so will use the voucher next week when I go shopping.
One P8ll are 35p away from payout, still only receiving 1 survey a day most of which I get screened out of - the robbing barst*wards! Lets see how many surveys become available when I'm back at 0p!
Other surveys have taken a back seat this week so must catch up with those this evening and over the weekend, some must be almost at payout so I need to concentrate my efforts there.
Ebay sales are steady, not making me a millionaire but doing the job of de-cluttering so thats another positive. I need to post 2 items today and then I can update my Ebay spreadsheet and will report my profit for October.
Today is a clean and tidy the house day, post my ebay parcels, put some washing away and do more ironing.
Not much planned for the weekend - mega cooking and baking session tomorrow morning and then relaxing in the afternoon, maybe a nap on the sofa.
Will hopefully catch up with DB and DN over the weekend as well. I just need abit of chilling time and a chance to recharge and re-focus.
SOrry for the long waffle, will catch up with everyones diaries later as I've been reading them but just not getting a chance to post.
Its raining again here today so the TD is is use.
Happy Friday xxxx0 -
Good Morning
Feeling alot less stressed this morning, house is nice and clean, the washing and ironing is upto date so I'm going to spend a lovely morning in the kitchen.
I'm going to make a couple of shepherds pies, bread, brocoli & stilton soup, beef bourginon and bake a chocolate cake for later.
Dinner tonight is going to be a chorizo and broad bean risotto, right I'd better go and dig some chicken stock out of the freezer.
I've also made more of an effort with my own appearance this morning - new mantra is to dress and appear as though you're expecting Johnny Depp to knock on the door at any moment. Ok thatmight be a bit overdressed for every day but I suppose it means make more of an effort to appear dressed tidily every day.
Happy Saturday xxx0 -
Stll 35p away from payout!
Yesterdays cooking session went well yesterday, lots of lovely things are now in the freezer and it will make life abit easier through the week.
I've had a lovely relaxing weekend, just trying to keep up with little bits as and when its needed, so much nicer than rushing around trying to do far too much in not enough time (which is my usual style)
I didn't manage to catch up with all my surveys yesterday but the ones I did manage to do were very fruitful - 1 £5 amazon voucher was earnt and I qualified to test out some washing detergent so I'm very happy with that.
Not much else to report, going to get out for some fresh air soon and then its a thai curry for dinner tonight (nice and easy)
Ebay sales are due to end in a couple of hours, will try and get my spreadsheet updated tonight and I can report Octobers profit.
Happy Sunday xxx0 -
Hi Choo,
Glad you managed to recharge your batteries a little bit over the weekend. Last week sounds manic!!!
Yay to you getting your freezer filled back up with lovely food. Dinner in your house always sounds devine!!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
Good Evening
Hi Mummy, the batteries have been recharged and I'm ready for this week
I'm now 20p away from payout!
Today has been a pretty good day, all the work has been finished and I'm happy that I've done the best I can.
The heating has been switched on at home as its now so cold and I'm not having the kids feeling cold in their own home.
I've updated my ebay spreadsheet and my profit for October was £70.47, not too bad at all for clearing out our clutter.
I've just had Mr Mogs insurance renewal through so I need to have a look on Quidco and see if I can get it cheaper.
I think thats about it from me xxx0 -
Good Morning
Still 20p from payout
Work has calmed down, thank goodness! I was so tired last night I gave the kids their dinner, had a bath and put my pjs on and then vegged out with my book. I just couldn't bear the thought of looking at anymore numbers so will save reconciling our own finances until my day off tomorrow.
On a positive note I have been contacted by a lady who might be looking for an accountant to help her with her small business so I'm going to have a chat with her and see where it leads, it may come to nothing but no harm in having a chat with her.
I need to do some grocery shopping later but didn't get round to meal planning last night so will try and fit it in today at some point.
Another positive is with been so busy with work I've not been spending any money which will be beneficial to the bank account :j
List for today
Work hard
Ask boss for a paid day off to compensate me for all the extra hours that I've done recently
Meal plan when I get a spare 10 minutes
Grocery shopping
Clean out the spare fridge as something manky has dripped everywhere
Ironing
Catch up with surveys
Right back to working hard, hope everyone has a lovely day xxx0 -
Good Evening
Wahoo I've reached payout, £40 is on the way which will be put towards the business costs :j
Quick update of the list

The boss was fine with my paid day off and I'll have enough for another day off at a later date, maybe a day off before Christmas to do some shopping. That sounds like a plan, a whole day off through the week to go Christmas Shopping :j
Last year the Christmas shopping was done in a flurry of exam revision so it will be lovely this year to have the time to enjoy the shopping.
Thats about it from me, I'm just about to light the log burner but I'm struggling to find any kindling (DH has used it all )0 -
Hi Choo, woohoo to the payout finally :j. Now to start over again!!!
Christmas shopping for a whole day sounds lovely, enjoy!!! xxMummytogirls x0
