    Good Morning

I'm feeling much better this morning, I slept right through last night so feel soooo much better this morning. I've picked out an outfit to wear today that is very unlike me as its not my usual jeans/blouse/cardi/jumper combo so feel good about that. I'm going to head upstairs soon and give the GHDs some exercise and put some make up on, have a quick spray of Chanel and I should be set for the day.

I've decided that the housework can wait today so DD and I are heading out to the Next sale to see if we can pick up anything for our winter wardrobes.

The washing machine has just finished so will go and hang it all out and put another load on.

Hope everyone has a lovely day xxx
  • Sounds like a nice day you have planned Choo, enjoy xx

    Good Morning

Mummy -we had a lovely day thank you xx

Yesterday was a very HSD, it consisted of a trip to the cash and carry resulting in a spend of £116! The tins are fully stocked, we have enough toilet roll to last us until next year, I could set up a laundry service and the meat drawer in the freezer is looking good so I can't complain too much.

DD and I are now all set for winter and DS is almost there, unless they both have major growth spurts I am not intending to buy anymore clothes until next spring. The Next sale was very sparse but DD and DS both got a few bits and pieces which will do for the winter.

Today the beds have been stripped and towels washed, I was going to put the winter duvets on but seeing as though we're due a heatwave by the end of the week I'll hold off changing them from the summer ones.

The house is having a very quick swish and swipe, dinner will be prepared for this evening (roast pork and trimmings) and then we'll head out for some fresh air. I'll do the ironing later and then its a nice chill out evening planned.

Hope everyones having a lovely day xxx

    Good Morning

Just a quick update, boss is in the office and he looks really stressed!

7 of my 9 ebay items sold, not for mega bucks but they all raised something so thats nice - less clutter in the house and a few pounds towards my laptop cost.

As a new seller I have a limit of selling 10 items a month so I want to try and get 3 more listed and finished before the end of September so will try the 3 day listing to end Friday. Then I can start October with the full 10 and try and get rid of more clutter.

    The list for today

Work hard and try not to upset the boss
Give DD wardrobe and airing cupboard a good blitz when I get home
Reconcile finances spreadsheet and bank account tonight, sort ISA payment out

Hope everyone has a lovely day xx
  • Hi Choo :)

Have you tried Amazon for selling your stuff? I haven't sold much on there but if you only have a limit on ebay as to how much you can sell it's worth a try? esp before xmas people seem to buy any bit of old tat lol xx

    Good Morning

DFW - I haven't tried Amazon, will look into it, thanks xx

Well its a lovely, warm sunny day here today. No washing out today though as I didn't get round to washing any last night. Skipped brekkie again this morning, the usual soggy roll purchased on the way into the office (not good for waistline or purse)
I've left a curry in the slow cooker for dinner tonight so will cook some rice and make some naan breads when I get home.

I didn't get round to tidying up DDs wardrobe last night as I needed to post the ebay parcels, I'm surprised how long it took to package my items and drive to the Post Office. One more buyer paid last night so I've got the parcel ready to go, sat in the boot and I'll post it tonight on my way home.
I did however put all the ironing away, folded up the clean towels, did some work for a client and prepped the curry so not a wasted evening.

    Tonights plan

    Do some washing
Tidy DD wardrobe and airing cupboard
    Make naan breads
Reconcile budget spreadsheet and bank account
    Set up an ISA payment
    Meal plan and shopping list

The petrol light came on in my car this morning so will have to sort that out on my way home

    Good Morning

A lovely morning so 2 loads of washing are out on the line.

I managed to tidy out the airing cupboard last night and found a few bits for ebay, a bag for the bin and a bag for the clothes bank. I didn't get time to do DDs wardrobe so thats a job for tonight.
I also reconciled the bank account and spreadsheet and theres nothing spare to save into the ISA this month due to DHs effing work expenses, DC new clothes, paying for after school activities etc. We need to get back onto an even keel and then knuckle down with regular savings, I'm not over concerned as we haven't bought/spent any money that hasn't needed to be spent.

I've taken some italian style sausages out of the freezer for tonight so will make a tomato based sauce with garlic and onions, chop the sausages and serve with crinkly pasta and basil.

I didn't have time to do the shopping list last night so will need to find a quick 10 minutes at work today to get that done. I need to buy christmas cake ingredients and get them made at the weekend as last year I left it right until the end of November as I just CBA.

    Tonights list

    Quick grocery shop
    Do more washing
    Tidy DD wardrobe
Sew badges onto brownies/scout uniform and turn up DS school trousers (I hate sewing with a passion)

    Choo xx
  • Hi Choo, dinner sounds delicious.

    Good Morning

Hi Mummy - dinner was lovely and DH cooked it so even better x

Well I still haven't managed to sort out DDs wardrobe  but I did get all the other jobs done on my list so all is good, must remember that I can't try and do too much at once otherwise nothing gets done properly.
The sewing did get done so I'm happy about that, although it takes me ages to thread a needle now, a sad reminder that my eyes aren't as young as I feel :(

    Todays list

    Hang all the washing out
    Do more washing
    Blitz the house
    Sort DDs wardrobe out
    Ironing

Right better get the kids off to school and crack on xxxx
  • good luck with the jobs....let's hope you finally get the wardrobe done! I know exactly why that's always the last job to be done though lol (takes me forever in my kids' bedrooms!!!)
