Good Morning
The builder has been round, my head is spinning. The fees for incidentals are sending me abit loopy at the moment - building inspector £450 , meter moving fees £900  I need to have a serious look at the budgets and plan out all the extras that don't produce anything pretty to look at
Anyway no point worrying about it all, I'll have to rejig and plan out a monthly amount to save.
The plan for today- Sort out airing cupboard
- Put a dark load on
- Iron school uniforms
- Change kids bedding
- Make quiches for kids pack ups this week
- Make a shepherds pie for later in the week
- Cook Sunday dinner - roast pork (stuffing, apple and red cabbage already prepared and defrosted)
- List some higher value items on Ebay to take advantage of the free listing weekend
My £2012 challenge is off the ground - £5.99 ebay sales :j

Well done choo, glad you have had lift off with the challenge.
Rst pork and trimmings sound so yummy.0 -
OMG Choo, £900 to move meters . We had our gas meter moved about 8 years ago and it was about £350 so it seems to have spiralled!! Did make a big difference though as it was dead space other wise. Try look at the positive, you know about it now so its not going to be a shock when it comes to it
.
Hope you managed to get everything done you wanted to xxMummytogirls x0 -
Good Morning
Mummy - its the gas and electric meters to move so double cost (robbing barstewards)
Monday morning - where did the weekend go?
Dinner last night was lovely, I enjoyed it more than Christmas lunch!
Its back to afterschool activities this week, a full school and working week. Its been lovely just going straight home after school without having to drop kids off at various activities. I managed to get most of the jobs done off my list yesterday, DH ironed the school uniforms so I can't take credit for that and I didn't manage to make the little quiches either so I'll have to do that tonight.
I was abit of a muppet with my ebay listings as well, I took photos and tried to upload them and they wouldnt work. Got abit fed up with it (I'm not the most patient person) so left it and did something else. Later on I realised I hadn't connected the usb cable to my laptop from the camera so no wonder nothing was uploading, by this time DH had got hold of the camera and deleted the pictures off and I just couldn't be bothered to retake them so the high value items are still sat waiting to be listed on Ebay! I have relisted the items which didn't sell previously so currently have 16 active, hopefully will make a few pennies to add to the challenge total!
Anyway the list for today- Work hard
- Post my 2 ebay parcels
- Contact builder
- Prep veg for tomorrow evening
- Make quiches for kids lunches
- 1 load of washing
- Make pack ups
- Get a clients work upto date
- Check for surveys
- Help kids with homework/reading books

Good Morning
Just a quick catch up as I'm meant to be working!
Yesterday was a NSD, and I'm hoping that today will be as well. I still haven't made the quiches for the kids pack up so need to get that done tonight, hopefully I won't blow the NSD by been lazy and buying shop bought pastry! I have some feta cheese and sun dried toms in the fridge that need using up so I'll make a few quiches for myself out of those and then use up the frozen bacon bits in the kids quiches.
I'm hoping that the bank account will still look healthy when I get a chance to look at it, it can't look any worse than last month, but DH has done alot better this month so it should be ok.
DD has an after school activity tonight so I've left the shepherds pie in the oven timed to come on whilst we're out and the veg are all preppped so its a nice easy dinner tonight.
Jobs for tonight- Make pack ups
- Help with reading books and homework
- Make quiches
- Clients work
- Ring electrician and joiner and arrange a day for them to come round to look at the job

Oohhh Choo your oven sounds posh coming on with a timer haha!!! Sounds like idea of a good gadget anyway.
Hope the nativity went well, you had a NSD and you got all your jobs done xxMummytogirls x0 -
Good Afternoon
Thanks Mummy - I've never thought of it been a posh oven before, it is really useful though.
I managed to have a NSD yesterday as I made the pastry and didn't cheat by buying it, unfortunately today won't be a NSD as I have to go shopping after work. Meal plan has been done and I have a shopping list so there will be no excuse for overspending.
I need to get back into a regular bedtime routine as I'm finding it so hard to get out of bed on a morning. This morning was a right rush, as I didn't make the pack ups last night and I ended up eating my cereal as the kids were getting ready to leave the house at 8.30am
Todays list- Work hard
- Grocery shopping
- Quick tidy round downstairs
- Finsh clients work - didn't get done last night
- Make pack ups

Good Morning
Thanks for popping by DFW, last night was much better with routines xx
Well what to report?
I did the grocery shopping yesterday and spent £36 in Aldx (but did include a £2.50 nutcracker and bowl, DH mocked me that I won't be able to use it until next christmas but it will be there to use when the appropriate time arrives) I also spent £20 in Mr S so not too bad, I think next week and the week after will have to be frugal shops and just a case of using up whats in the fridge and freezer!
The kids loved the HM quiches so I'll be making those again with all the bits and pieces leftover in the fridge.
I managed to get my butt out of bed for a decent time this morning so I've had porridge with chopped banana for breakfast, tidied the kitchen, hung a load of washing out, S&S the downstars loo and hoovered the lounge. I also popped in to pick up some work from a client on the way home from school and its not even 9.30am yet
Todays list- Finish clients vat work
- Blitz upstairs as its only been S&S over xmas
- More washing
- Help kids with homework/reading books
- Make pack ups
- Ironing
Have a good day xxx
