Thanks HBS i seem to be basic at everything i do but i enjoy it. I managed to get a sewing machine when Mr T did that 90% off thing, paid £9.95 for it. Good luck with the decorating, its strange how we know these things need doing but we leave it until the last minute.
It will all be worth it when you are in your lovely new house.
Im off to work shortly ( that makes a change) but im off to Bournemouth tomorrow,My son got us a hotel stay with meals for our 25 th wedding anniversary last year so we are going tomorrow (Young bride) ( it expires on the 31st see what i mean about last minute)
Have a good day and catch up later

Hope Bournemouth was good, we used to go camping there every year until I was about 13 and loved it. I looked for a sewing machine but couldn't find one.
Another weekend gone far to quickly and I didnt finish the living room the good thing is its only the supporting beam to go but im too short so will need to find something to put on the ladder to stand on! DD has got into the decorating and really helped by pulling a huge strip of wallpaper off in her bedroom! I had a quick look in B&Q and the same wallpaper is £25 a roll no way am I paying that its not even nice! I have put a wanted on freecycle for pink paint or a roll of wallpaper. Why cant I have these kids who never touch anything lol One step forward 2 back!Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
Hi Happy,
Glad to see you are getting on well with your decorating. I have the materials for the living room but seem to have diverted my attentions to the bedroom (I think it will be easier and needs less spending on it).
I went to New Forest the year before last and went to Bournemouth a few times, lovely lovely beaches.
£25.00 per roll for wallpaper  I am thinking a painted one colour feature wall :rotfl:Just keep swimming!0 -
Itsa nice to see you!
2 more sleep then I can pick up the keys to our new house, our current property has had no viewings for over a week. I am hoping that they have found someone to take it on and are doing no more viewings on it. I was looking on rightmove and I have to say there are other 4 beds in the area for the same price which look so much nicer I dont understand why they have put the rent up for the next lot its not a nice house.
We have had some more luck with money for some unknown reason I got paid £760 wages I resigned in december and took all my leave, so I assume this is a tax rebate as I was paying tax based on £18000 yearly but I was on mat leave so only had 6 full pays then SMP either way I have now paid my bills YEAY! Also we put credit on ther gas card and they messed up again so we got £40 gas for £20!
DD1 and DH have a birthday coming up they share a valentines birthday so we opened our sealed pot yesterday and we had £45 so we have found her some Jungle Junction playsets and minnie mouse books all which were half price. DH can go without its valentines day so its all about me :rotfl:(I have got DH a new TV 40" out of my wages but Shhhhh! ours old one now has a nice green tinge to it lol)
DD2 pulled herself up against the furniture yesterday it wont be long now until she is running aroundI want to keep her as a baby. She will be 1 on the last day of March where does the time go.
DH spoke to the council today about fostering our new house is on the somerset/north somerset border officially we are somerset however we are closer to the north somerset area and as such the 2 councils decided we would be better of registering with the North Somerset Council as we would have more placements all the forms are on the way to our new house and we have a meeting to attend soonDH was happy the person he spoke to at the council he went to school with so felt comfortable asking lots of questions they also had a quick catch up.

Thank you.. I still have the internet for now YEAY
I have the keys:j:D:j:D:j I have dropped one car full off and have reloaded. DH will be taking a van full later. I am just waiting for my washing machine to finish so I can take my sheet out to dry then I'm off ( I only have 1 king size sheet and parents are staying
how sad is that I really must buy one!)
I need to check my bank I have just put £50 in the tank which should be enough to collect parents and return them if we dont over use my car! I need baby milk and nappys and maybe some sweets to keep the kids quiet on the journey. Luckily our new house is on the way to the M5 so wont have to make any diversions.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
I hope the house move went well and you are settling in.
A house move is supposed to be one of the most stressful things in life.
At least it's out of the way and you can get on with other things and have some 'me' time.
