  • thank you:j I did receive the vouchers I used them before I saw your PM :o I did PM you to say thank you but the internet crashed and Im not sure you got it?

Thats good news regarding the van, but bad regarding the second job do you have to keep it?

The fostering process should take 4-6 months, we are looking to take on 0-10 year olds we have a social worker coming tuesday evening, then we will make a formal application and start the training. :D If you have a spare room it would be worth looking into, personally though I would say stick to the council fostering and not the agencys as the agencys tend to have the harder to place children.

Moneywise we are totally up the creek without a paddle DH handed in his resignation :( and now looking for another job, this means I will have to go onto JSA for the first time ever (to be fair DH has always worked and never claimed either it just got too much for him) DH has had one interview and im sure more will follow. We have worked out if we can make approx £1000 we should be OK, I have worked out that I am due a tax refund of approx £370 and we have about £300 still tied up in the previous house being disputed via DPS so we are over half way there! We have some bits we can sell such as a new washing machine and baby monitor :o

We are away next week so will have internet :D:D:D I will be catching up with everyones diarys etc then.

  • Our phone has been put to gd use today already dreading the bill, but all were essential calls to chase payments etc. Housing benefit has been approved and first payment recieved today, working familys/child tax credits have messed it up and say we are not entitled so they are re looking at as the lady knew this was wrong also contacted Halifax to see if they will put my mortgage on interest only until we are working again I just have to provide them with a little more info tomorrow. Ontop of that I changed my car insurance saving 50% on renewal and arrange to go into the job centre tomorrow.

I have to admit I'm a little scared of going to the job centre having never been unemployed but as long as i'm honest everything should be fine and hopefully will be short term.:o

DH and I have applied for loads of jobs and I secretly sent his CV off for a pole dancing position :D

DS went back to school today and DD1 starts pre school on wednesday my week days are going to be much quieter.

  • The Jobcentre I went in was actually good they were really helpfull, I soon got over my nerves.
Halifax have agreed to put my mortgage on interest only for upto 12 months which is really good, I only have a small mortgage just shy of £37000 left the payment will go from £246 p/m to £120p/m.

DD1 loves pre school but at the moment is far to tired to answer any questions, DD1 is strong willed and refuses to use the toilet or potty so I am praying pre school will help change her mind (she was dry for 2 weeks then decided she didnt like it). DD2's personalitly is begining to show more I think she is going to be lazy and easily amused, DD2 is not walking yet she stands and moves around but then drops and crawls to where she wants to go shes a sleepy baby aswell little miss lazy bones.

  • hi happy! i seem to have missed your updates?! not sure how lol but just catching up now. I hope dh finds himself a job soon, when will he be starting at uni? Good news about the mortgage going to interest only, that's a nice cheap amount to find each month :) can you not do your ebaying through your mobile? If it is a smart phone you can usually download an app and then just take a pic on phone and upload to ebay?
