  • Hi

I'm back just about! We have lost internet as predicted lol but DH has bought me a dongle and it is painfully slow 20 minutes just to get to this point! As it stands we are unable to get our broadband til mid march! The fella who owns our house works for RBS and worked from home so the house has a protection on it by the bank they have cancelled it but we cant apply to sky until 2nd March and then it will take 2 weeks GRRRRRR

I havent read back as it will probably take another 20 minutes and I will try to catch up with diarys/blogs over the weekend when I have more time.

The move has gone really well we love the house I havent seen DS he has met a few other children and settled very quickly. DD1 had her 3rd birthday yesterday and she is sleeping better in this house aswell we had a little birthday party for her and DS had all his new friends come in to sing her happy birthday. The neighbours are much more friendly than the ones we left behind and have all introduced themselves.

As I read this back it seems very blunt but im worried the signal on this dongle will die and I will lose everything!

I will catch up again soon x

  • Aww Happy you sound, well so Happy! :D glad the move went well and it's a nicer house & area. DS sounds like he's already at home there -always a good sign when the kids are happy!

I think i would be climbing the walls if i had to wait for a whole month without internet lol- would probably be good for me though ;)

Look forward to hearing from you soon xx

It sounds as though you are settling in already. Not good news about the broadband.

  • Back again!! Still on this dongle I have found a better connection on DS's PC in our Dining room not ideal but will do for the moment, at least I can check the banks etc to make sure money is where it is supposed to be and not being smoked away by DH!!

Its not been a very MSE weekend, DH has got me a laptop for my birthday which will be delievered the day before, we also got some new bits for our house and some summer clothes for us (great deal Matalan Clearance all summer 2011 stock under £3 and buy 1 get 1 free). I have to admit I dont normally buy clothes as I have loads of really nice stuff given to us but I hope to be able to do it more often lol

I sent our fostering application off and I am waiting for a home visit from the council, fingers crossed it will all start moving really soon. I have been looking at what will be our spare room (DD2 is currently sleeping there) It is painted in 2 shades of blue so not very unisex the curtains have a bright green strip on them so I am going to make it a bit more girly by using bright green bedding, a rug and make some nice pictures. I have a spare blank canvas to cover in pretty green wallpaper. I love glitter and beads some may also come up with some other decor bits all of which can be removed for a boy.

Anyway sorry I have not been on to other peoples diarys it just hasnt been possible.
