  • More good news today this year is on the up lets hope it stays that way! Lloyds have approved me for a current account so I will now start to withdraw my money from santander and natwest and pay into lloyds I didnt want a basic account so I'm really pleased. Once we are moved we will need a third account which DH will set up for his expenses (or he will start to spend bill money again!)

Our letting agents have already booked in 2 viewings one for tomorrow at 12 so we have been busy sprucing the place up I have done a quick paint up through the stairs to cover the kids handy work and second coated the gloss. The agents know we are in the middle of papering and our OK with a half finished room.

I'm off shopping tonight going on a whoopsie hunt so need to be there for 7ish for final reduction!

  • I'm so glad everything is going well for you :) what a great start to the year! I wish mine were going as well ;)

Once I know i'm moving, even before i find anywhere i start packing lol, the first couple of boxes are always so organised. Then the last stuff is always always thrown into black bin bags as we run out of boxes (guaranteed!)

    Have fun whoopsie shopping :)

  • Whoopsie shopping was fantastic £30 for a trolly full, fresh organic full chickens 25p £19 beef joint for £3 pizzas 10p the list goes on and on will just need to pick up some fruit and spuds as and when needed. This little lot should last at least 2 weeks.

Bloody decorating got another 3 rolls off wallpaper up :rotfl: we have been doing this room since september and this plank only went and washed some dirt off the dining room wall and removed loads of paint so now I need to paint that room grrrrrrrr

On a lighter note we locked ourselves out earlier by we I mean me! DH had the kids in the car and I had to run back in for something he gave me the keys to get in I put them down raced back out shuting the door behind me  So ds jumped over the side gate to get us in the back garden and said he could get in my bedroom window but the ladders in the shed (key on car keys!) we find a screw driver and ds and I take the door off the shed rescue the ladder and ds gets in. Whats my husband doing in the meantime???? Stood watching humming laurel and hardy! :rotfl:I could have swung for him.

  • Well thats another weekend gone far to quickly!

I dont know whats up with DS at the moment he is sooooo stroppy hes throwing worse paddys than my 2 year old. He can be stroppy if he goes to bed later than 8 he really needs his sleep! However I'm a little bit concerned hes not been getting enough attention and hes a bit too young to realise all our distractions are because we want him to be happy at school and the money saving and moving is to get him closer to his friends and so he is guarenteed not to have to go back to the acadamy so inbetween moving/decorating and 2 children under 2 I have to make sure I make some time to play a board game at least every other night.

Looking at our living room I would never make a painter and decorator lol Still its better than the big green flowers which covered the walls when we first moved in and the green velour curtains which fell apart when I washed them
