  • Hi Bonnington

I have been on but my laptop was stolen during the break in, during the day when DS is at school I can use his PC and evenings if my husband has no work to do I can use his work laptop (unfortunately he has loads of work at the moment).. I do have access to DSs IPOD touch but its difficult to type on!

I have spent 2 days reading the frugal challenge and its really interesting, I hope I can get to the end of it soon I am getting some really good tips and from the ipod its a strain reading it. I have however worked out my min spend for 12 months is £27, 000  that is including mortgage, rent debts and everything else big and small. This HAS to be reduced. :o

Hope everyone has had a good weekend x

  • Hi Happy, hope you are OK, it must give you eye strain reading through everything on an Ipod touch :o
    Just keep swimming!
  • It does give eye strain I have to keep putting it down its so small, I do like it though I could be trendy and get one but ummm nah!

No I will have to save for one, I may save for a PC like the one DS got for christmas. I have loads left to pay on kays and as long as I make an order every 3-6 months I can build up my commision, if I dont make an order it will expire. I have about £15 in comission already since November so it shouldnt take to long.

Have I said we viewed a rental house close to DSs school in cheddar we have expressed our interest its a 4 bed and only £75 more than the one we are in we will however save £200 in petrol.

We have also spoken to the somerset council and have received the forms regarding fostering, they are really interested and have phoned us twice already to ask if we have heard back from the estate agents about moving as we are currently in a different local authority area. They think given our circs we would be best looking at 0-10 years, they will start the process as soon as we move but may not place anyone with us until the baby turns 2 although they said if the baby is easy going they may start placements early.. the baby is so laid back its unreal lol so I cant see her age being a problem.

After a shaky start to the year I am feeling fairly positive although they say bad things come in 3 so waiting for the third now. (1st got overshadowed by break in, I didn't get paid so was £1200 short but after a few days arguing with my payroll who said dont worry you will get it end of feb they part paid me £1000)
