I dont know whats up with DS at the moment he is sooooo stroppy hes throwing worse paddys than my 2 year old. He can be stroppy if he goes to bed later than 8 he really needs his sleep! However I'm a little bit concerned hes not been getting enough attention and hes a bit too young to realise all our distractions are because we want him to be happy at school and the money saving and moving is to get him closer to his friends and so he is guarenteed not to have to go back to the acadamy so inbetween moving/decorating and 2 children under 2 I have to make sure I make some time to play a board game at least every other night.
Looking at our living room I would never make a painter and decorator lol Still its better than the big green flowers which covered the walls when we first moved in and the green velour curtains which fell apart when I washed them
Kids eh! My eldest gives me more grief than the two toddlers put together!! How old is he? I had a chat with my eldest about schools and he was more clued up than i had given him credit forand knew what was what but was just being a hormonal pain in the a$$ for the sake of it i think :rotfl:

I cant post it sends me to log in accepts my log in then goes around in circles lol I am getting excited my current house is on there at the mo and they have put the rent up for the next lot by £95  Its a large house but very run down, I guess if someone who enjoys DIY and decorating gets it it would be a nice large property for cheap rent.
I don't know anyone within 100 miles :rotfl:I really need to get out more DD1 starts Pre School in April so I may get to know some of the locals then.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
Lots of packing done will put up another 2 rolls of wallpaper later I am hoping we get it done by saturday afternoon, still loads to put right.... the problem is the house was so run down when we first moved in I'm not sure what I need to do (whether its my kids that have done something or previous tennants!) so I'm doing most of it! I will be furious if we dont get our deposit back!!
I don't know if I have said peviously but I did get a new current account so once all the bills have gone out this month I will change working familys wtc to go into that account, I am then going to start paying C/C's £1 and will write to them and explain thats all they are getting as I'm out of work, in the meantime I will save save save for full and finals. I will have a problem of where to save the money as you all know I can't have it accessable to DH or he will find something to spend it on he found my secret savings account which had £300 for emergencys this he didn't touch but knows it exists or a new secret hiding place (suitcase in the loft lol) and still drip feed into the post office saver for emergencys.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -

When i was saving for a house deposit years ago, I opened a savings account and put the address under my mums house so that none of the statements came into the house as DH is also one to spend spend spend if it's there :rotfl: OR you can open online accounts where you can opt out of having statements sent to you
These days it's a lot harder for a landlord to keep hold of your money. My last tenants literally trashed the house I rented to them and i got a measly £207 ....it cost me £1,000 to fixdid you sign a schedule of condition? If not they don't have a leg to stand on for claiming for something....(i learnt my lesson on that one! I was that landlord last time!)

Yes and it does state everything is in bad condition lol but part of me don't want the new tennants to think I made it like this, the previous tennants had a distruptive relationship and there are holes in doors and walls, wallpaper was hanging off the walls and the kitchen cupboards are painted yellow! I can take a guess at what my lot has done my 2 year old has scribbled on some walls I have painted over that and I ruined the paintwork in the dining room trying to clean it!Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
Thanks for the posts. :T
You've been really busy with decorating and packing. I remember when we last moved over 5 years ago. It took ages to pack and a while t move as we moved about 470 miles.
I'm sorry I finished the hall before you completed your decorating. :rotfl:
You can take comfort in the knowledge most of the other rooms in our property need decorating also.
Tomorrow sees the start of the kitchen and putting up tiles. I've filled the wall. I've never done this before and not really looking forward to cutting the tiles with the electric cutter.
Have a great week-end.:DJune 16 Mortgage Amount £82,896.15
