My secret millions that is!!

Now for reality :(

I am 29 married with 3 children we have just shy of £30, 000 worth of debt and we need to save £2,000 to move at some point in the next 12 months

My husband earns a reasonable wage and I am on extended Mat leave as childcare for 3 children will cost more than I earn. I have asked my employers if I can retain my contract but find weekend or evening work until I am able to return, im hoping for an answer by the end of the month. In the mean time we have a few plans but any ideas greatfully received :D

1. reclaim credit card charges
2. reclaim PPI
3. ebay ebay ebay (Zzzzzzzzzzzz)
4. carboot
5. paper round

We have loads of rubbish and have no choice in the move but to down size as the rent will be higher due to location, however we have just taken DS out from his new secondary school as its terrible and he was getting a badly bullied by the older children (he is small and very gentle) so move is to keep him in a decent school with a good education.

Thanks for reading, i'm off to double check under the mattress.. you never know!:rotfl:

  • Sorted a number of items for carboot, placed one ad in the paper, a few ideas for ebay. Why is it when you sort toys which the children havent touched for ages all of a sudden they want to play with them!

The weather is due to be bad tomorrow so the carboot may have to wait but I will load some of it on to ebay first.

Off to have a nose around some diarys

  • Happy new diary :) Some days you're just not meant to get anything done but it doesn't mean tomorrow has to be the same! You can do this, even if you don't get everything done in one day every little helps!
    Thank you competition posters!
  • Thank you decluttering

It rained hard here this morning so no carboot but have got things ready for ebay and some computer games to trade in for cash so that will all help. I have been looking at someone elses thread and we may not need to save as much as we thought it depends if our letting agent will take our deposit as the last months rent, we will just have to give them enough notice to inspect we will also ask if they have any properties to rent in the area we are looking at as they could transfer us... will speak to them next week.

Tomorrow we must clean the house I would be so embarrassed if anyone turned up, my 2 year old is a bit like the tazmanian devil at the moment.

Did you find your millions in the couch??

Good luck and maybe this time next year all our kids will be in some sort of childcare and we might even get to have a cup of tea bfore 11am

    xx Gem

    Hi aiming high & Gem

I find ebay so boring but I promise I will start listing soon and I am still searching for my lost millions!

well not been feeling great today, I also didnt sllep well last night I was worrying about money.

We have however advertised 5 items in various freeads and will be taking some computer bits in town to trade in tomorrow, I checked their selling value on ebay and looks like they are worth more trading in. We also took one car full of old broken toys to the tip and no doubt will do the same 2/3 times more.

Housework sort of done can't do any washing or meters will go, we do have emergency credit but if we dont use it in april we will get £100 vouchers.
