Hi Squidge, thank you for your support
Well NSD again today, I have returned an item on the catalouge which will credit the account £199 so will count that as a payment to the account.
OH had a day off today so we sorted out the back garden and bagged everything that needs to go to the tip (2 estate cars worth :eek:)
Other money saving I have cancelled love film saving £10.99 a month and also phoned experian to cancel that.. not done as they gave me a few things to do to improve my rating online so will cancel next month.
Tomorrow I will send off disassociation forms and update my address with creditors and change everything to married name, send off credit card charges form and get some gas, electric and some food shopping will allow £60 for 10 days worth.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -

Have you posted a SOA anywhere on here yet, i did when i first joined and got a few good pointers on where to save money -mainly my grocery spending :eek: i'm shocked at what i used to spend compared to now and we're not exactly starving
I also try to keep up with my daily spend diary and do the nsd challenge on here, keeps me motivated (most days) to not spend
I wish you luck and will subscribe to see how you're doing

Hi DFW:wave::wave::wave:
Thank you I was thinking about doing it but after looking at everyone elses SOA and the comments I concluded we only have £20 unnecessary spend every month that is sky, I have cancelled everything else.
we spend a max of:
£200 shopping for 5 of us (normally under)
£60 nappies and baby milk (make own dinner/tea)
£20 petrol as use OHs company car as much as possible (will increase as will need to travel to take son school)
no mobile bills as OH can use his work one for personal
OH&DS get a hair cut every 8 weeks I trim DD1 mine is mess
We are lucky to live by the sea lots of free walks and the kids love the woods lol
Clothes mine get handed down from Aunt/sister, dd1 from freecycle (did buy about £20's worth all items £1 and under) dd2 from dd1, my bil looked after ds for a week and he came with a new wordrobe lol OH got a clothing allowance from work...
Everything else is utilities which we always check comparisons and high debt repayments.
We are renting a large 5 bed cheaply but we are saving to move into a cosy 3/4 bed near to DS school hopefully the rent will be simular to now but utilitys less also petrol saved.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
