  • Hi DFW / CW2

Took a longer route to school today and got there much quicker, I think we need to look at getting the deposit quicker we have £50 so far and will need approx £900. As well as selling via ebay/facebook I may look at paying minimum payments until we have the cash. Will speak to OH tonight!

WFTC is in today so Council tax and water rates paid also an overpayment to catalogue. Today should be another NSD.

NSD for me again today :j

Been looking at the accounts today and OH has not managed his work expenses  We have had words as he was using the rent money :( so I am praying he is telling the truth and the money will be paid back in a few days! This means he now has no expense money left on top of the fact we have no food or money until the 22nd. From next month his wages will be paid into my account it will be much easier that way

Feel so down about money wish I could run away and hide :(
    Opinions please :D

To generate some money I was thinking of holding a 6 week kids christmas craft sessions. I would set the front room up to hold upto 15 children and charge £3/£3.50 per session. I would also get a crb check.

Do you think people would pay or be happy to have it in a personal property?

  • Hi Happy,

Thanks for posting on my diary. I think you should tell Mr Happy that men can do housework and washing. The only thing I am not keen on is ironing. I usually have to iron tops for the children and a shirt for myself in the morning.

I have stood for ages in the past ironing but not over keen. Also my wife usually tells me I don't iron the clothes properly. Maybe a good excuse not to do the ironing. ;)

  • happy, i now have dh wages paid into my account, along with child benefit & tax credits. He really can't help the fact that if the money is sitting there, it HAS to be spent! It literally burns holes in his pockets :rotfl:once you have control over the money you will find it easier....it's just the waiting until it's al sorted out now!

My hubby helps around the house & with kids but he does like to play the martyr for doing it!!

Hope you find a way of getting your deposit together sooner. And so long as you had proper insurances etc i'd be happy to send my kids to someones house for crafts and things so i say give it a go!! :T what sort of things will you be making??

  • I was thinking christmas themed, making decorations, a sweet tree, crackers, christmas stockings, cards.
I put a few things on gumtree which if they sell should net us £80 OH will put this back into his expenses account, I will try and add more later.
Today will be another NSD I know that for certain as the bank is empty!

  • 3 things now on gumtree fingers crossed they sell if they do that would be £200, looking and turning out every cupboard for more stuff.

OH called he has really overspent and he does not have our full rent money :( we are approx £300 short although will need to work it out properly later! So looking through our budget sheet I will have to look at which other bills can be "forgotten" to get paid in order to pay rent :(.

I really wish he had told me yesterday when I asked as I went ahead and overpaid the catalogue  O well what is done is done and I have a week to sort it out and sell stuff!

Hope everyones had a better day than me :D

  • Feeling much happier today but have worked out we need a minimum of £333 for the bills I have to sideline in order to pay rent and OHs work expenses, so I have set this as our target, the C/Cs will get minimum payments this month.

Had 1 call from a gumtree ad, they are coming out this evening if it sells that will be £40. I also need to contact post office about my savings I have £50 but dont know my log in detils to get it:o
