  • I have been in and looking at the finances and the prioritys grrrrr. My wages will stop completely soon and in about 7 months we will be approx -£309 p/m on our SOA this is with stripping it down to minimum payments so I have a few options

    1. Save not overpay will need £3678 to see us through 12 months ensuring all minimum payments are reached. This option is relying on me finding a new local job within 12 months If DH reaches his targets then make overpayments with this.
    2. Carry on Overpaying. Debt will decrease but nothing in place for pay drop maybe look at ebaying etc.
    3. Once we move get a DMP in my name only. All debt is in my name we are not linked financially. I have a property in negative equity, along side this we could then save more of DHs wages towards a house and F&F as he would have to get the mortgage on his own anyway (cant have 2 residential mortgages) also he would be a first time buyer so more options available..part buy part rent possibly only 5% deposit.

I dont know I'm sure their are other options. :o

I'm also VERY Jealous of i.m.harts massive haul of toilet rolls today :rotfl: we havent come accross any of these :(

Even more jealous of the carrot cake!

Have you tried scanning the new uno packs some people have got these cheap check for a sticker over the barcode!

F&F means a full and final offer to creditors if your in default some have been known to accept as little as 25% of the outstanding debt.

happy - I'm near to you as Bristol is my local city. I'm curious as to whereabouts you are and having read the fact that you are by the coast, I don't think you are too far from me as where I live is on the coast. Oh for a house with channel views (well, one can dream can't they!).

How old are your two littlies? If you are in the same town as me, I can recommend some toddler groups if you are interested.
  • Sorry me again
ive searched but cant find it, is there a template letter for full and final settlement?:D
