I have had a relaxing few days we had a daytrip to the big sheep on saturday a freebie from freecycle, it was really nice but I dont think I would have been happy if I had to pay for it!
I have been rounding down in both bank accounts on a daily basis and paid loads to barclay card. I will go through my online statement and update my overpayment sums soon.
We got my nephew some 4p jeans for xmas and DH a 4p jumper. Look out for beans in tesco branstons buy 1 get 2 free taking off extra discount so buy 3 for £2, and dove deodrant buy 1 get 1 free works on the already reduced ones so £1 for 2.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
Just added all the overpayments to barclay card and since I last updated I have paid them £78.78, really pleased with this. I'm lucky my online banking allows me to make small payments under £1.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100

Afternoon
I got some beans today, will stock up on a few more later, also picked up 4 of the nivea.Didnt really need that as i have loads already but it wont go off..
Managed to get some tights and pjs for 4 p.dh is only 5 ft 7 and could only get him large to they are very long in the leg but hes not complaining .
Well done on barclaycard,i pad via online banking to my mortgage ,i cancelled my dd as my bank was taking the payment out up to a week early if it was a bank holiday.I send them ontop of my normal payment at least a £1 a day and get a receipt in the post for every payment its laughable ....i phoned them to check how up to date with my payments and the chap said to me you pay some ridicuously small amounts. i asked if it was a problem to which he replied no...so i do it all the more now.
The older i get the more i resent large buisness,i hate giving my money to them and cant wait to be debt and mortgage free so i can dissapear under the radar.
I also hate how much my utilities cost as well so if its just dh and me i light candles or sit in darkness..

After we clear 50% of the debt we will concentrate on our mortgage I know this is normally a big no no but we live 100 miles away from the property and its not rented but we go there often so dont want to sell the mortgage is approx £34000. We want to buy a home here but having spoken to a financial adviser we cant have 2 residential mortgages but could get a reasonable mortgage with some debt.
I am hoping to reach our target this year but it does depend on DH getting his bonus.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -

My husbands job meant we had to move so we have a mortgage and pay rentThe mortgage payments are low at the moment £235 p/m i'm hoping it stays that way for as long as possible, the ideal solution would be to rent it out or sell but at the moment I'm not ready to
its still my home and we go there for long weekends and holidays. I only pay the mortgage my parents pay the bills (I think they are worried we will sell and not visit as often as we currently do!)

Thank you Bonnington, I think I have made some really good friends on here and without that support I dont know what position we would be in now.
I have made a payment of £8.08 to barclays I really need to step up the game on this one. I would like to have this gone in 12 months but need to generate some money. I have loads of baby stuff I could sell but DH keeps saying to wait as he would like another ummmmm with the money we save in interest we could buy more baby stuff if needed.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100 -
I have had a really bad head ache all week which I can not shift grrr!
On the plus side we are well within budget on the shopping we havent needed to do a big shop this week as not much room in the freezer.
This is what we have spent:
Beans 6 x 4pk £4
milk 6 £6
Black forest gateax 75p
Potatoes large pack 38p
nivea spray 4 £2
Frootz about x6 approx £1
hotdogs x2 £1
Magners x 3 boxes £15 (ood sel so DTD reduction and out of xmas budget.)
we will need to get some bread either tonight or tomorrow as freezer running low but will get that reduced.
DH is working local so will collect DS from school saving me £5 so have transferred this and rounded down so £5.50 to barclays.Electric and Gas Predators 17/£700:j:j:j October make £10 a day challenge :j:j:j£155/£3100
