Thank you,if he had of come back and said look im not happy at all i want to return it and hadnt been so off in his first message then i maybe would have said return it and then i will refund in full the fact he swore got my goat totally uncalled for.so the buyer doesn't have to swear at you to get what is due them.
The buyer doesn't need to swear at anyone, sure OP could have offered the return postage as the buyer was unhappy and 'unopened' isn't the best choice of words for the description but that's no excuse for the buyer to talk to the OP in such a manner.
And yes maybe unopened wasnt best phrased although it literally was not opened as OH bought it and realised a few days later he had it already by then id lost/threw the receipt0 -
He has now left neg feedback how do i go about replying to it or having it removed?0
-
what did the feedback say, exact words please that way other people on here can see how to best sort it out0
-
Not new, used and opened! then said i'd have to pay for sending it back? Aviod!0

I can't see you getting it removed, it appears factual at least fron the buyers point of view. Just reply to it calmy that it was not used?2 angels in heaven :A0

The buyer swearing at you doesn't negate the duty you have as a seller.0
-
simply say "Item was new and unused as described. Refund offered"One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Understood but he was offered a refund, what can i do if he declines then swears at me,maybe if he had of said no but i will take it up with ebay as to who is responsible for P+P (which by the way i thought was him) then i would have agreed to a full refund upon knowing who was,its to late now he's left feedback and dont look like he will retract it,Neg is harsh for a game he got cheap just because it didnt have a bit of cellophane on it.TBH whenever we have bought games they rarely come wrapped so didnt think it would be an issuechancesare wrote: »The buyer swearing at you doesn't negate the duty you have as a seller.0 -
