Now the "new" system is showing (NET), does this mean an R85 will be accepted for those who wish to receive the reward gross?

i have two halifax reward accounts...the second one i used to transfer £1000 into and then transfer it out again and get a fiver....but now i dont bother....the fiver goes in anyway
Your post reads as though this has been going on for more than just this month.

So for how long have they been paying you for not crediting the account?

Or have I read your post incorrectly and it's just a quirk of the LTSB systems merger and this is the first month?

Mine has always shown as "Reward (Net)".

The only difference on my statements is that they changed to capitalised text, ie "REWARD (NET)", from 1st September.

But the answer to your question is no. :)

Mine used to show just "Reward" (no mention of net).

I opened one of these online last week. I got a letter telling me to phone and confirm a few things. I did that today and the lady said that I needed to take some documents into a branch so they could be photocopied (I should have had a letter about this as well according to her but none has arrived). I haven't had chance to take them in yet but the account has appeared in my online banking and seems to be useable.

Do you think I still need to take them in? Maybe she thought I wasn't a current customer (which would explain why I had no such letter).

Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

I think not! (Unless you always have over 1K credited to this a/c in every calendar month?)

Nothing stopping you from cycling the same £1,000 across several accounts if you are lucky enough to hold more than one reward account :)

My pay goes into Lloyds TSB, then 1k is cycled across 3 vantage accounts and then onto the halifax reward account and back into Lloyds again.
