My son fell over...

Sorry to hear about your son - hope he is ok. I would definitely have at least asked him if he were ok. In fact on Saturday as I and OH were walking along the street a family were coming towards us with a boy of about 9 or 10 a little in front of them. He fell over and even though his parents were there both me and OH asked him if he were ok. His parents thanked us for asking.
I have helped lost children a couple of times and, as OH used to be a paramedic, he always stops at any accidents.
Neither of us could ever just ignore someone or walk away. If there was any threat of danger, i.e. someone injured because of a fight, then we would at the very least phone the policeThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0
