  • Disney store has a sale on at the moment, I always stock up on stocking fillers in their sales.......... Spent £40 instore today but got loads today for my two!!
A small Thank You can make a BIG difference ;)
  • I don't have children yet, but when my sister and I were children we loved our stockings! Everything was wrapped individually as my mom loves wrapping lol. We had things like nail varnish, body spray, pencils + pens, chocolate, socks, notepads, Christmas tissues/ hankies, jewellery (think Claire's, not expensive!). We also got a new Christmas decoration to hang on the tree :D

I'm introducing stockings this year for my husband and I as he never had one as a child. We're going to do cheap and cheerful- chocolate, sweets, socks! Must get started on this!

love all the ideas! Im pretty much done for DH,DD and DS, apart from sweets like tubes, selection boxes, choc coins etc, which will get with nectar points nearer the time

those little Lindt bears are so cute! have my eye on those too - I bought one of the new Disney Store advent chest of drawers they have online in their Christmas shop, its gorgeous! am collecting little bits to go in each drawer and the bears are just the right size

I will have a look at crafty crocs, thanks for the info, I got the half price Festive Friends for stockings in Sainsburys too

I always wrap stocking presents, its one of my favourite jobs! I treat myself to a big latte from Starbucks, warm up a mince pie and put the tree lights on, then wrap it all up with one of the music channels on full volume with Top 50 Christmas songs :)

I love stockings, and they've always been little things for my DSs, with one biggish item. Their main request always came from us as we do family presents as well as Father Christmas.

OH always had his stockings wrapped so we do that too, but I never did.

My dad always had a stocking ( and OH does now) with an onion, jar of cranberry sauce and a potato, occasionally packet of stuffing or other dry goods, and often a bottle of beer:rotfl: . As OH is rather an 'eeyore' it has the DSs in pleats, even though they are older now, to see him pull each present out of the stocking with great excitement only to be slightly disappointed and then to grudingly admit it will be useful for Christmas dinner!

Interestingly, the DS's never noticed that I didn't get a stocking!
    Getting there...slowly! :D

    GC : must do better
    NSD: very rare

No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.
  • I try to make stockings interesting too; so stuff like coins (collector / foreign / silver dollars), small specialty foods, CDs / DVDs, Christmas ornaments, bath and body products, magazines (help expand capacity), small bottles of liquor (for grownups), and candy......:rotfl::beer:
    :)
  • Hiya im new but wanted to share my ideas!
