Santa always used to leave me an old fashioned toy in my stocking and that's the one I would love the most. Often something wooden or a Victorian game. A bit different and lots of fun. I always see them in Hawkin's Bazaar when I wander in and it reminds me of Christmas0

I might put PJ's in this year as ds2 has told me that the pyjama elves don't really exsist  I'll have to actually BUY them this year as afore mentioned elves normally deliver them on Christmas Eve so we know when it's bed time:AIt matters not how long a stars shines ,what is remembered is the brightness of it's light.
JAN Battle attacks cars, 3 VIP althletics tickets, fairtrade choccy .... yum

subscribing too as love to see your ideas!!!!!!!
mine are 11 and 14 now, they have their stocking from Mr C before breakfast and our pressies for them under tree after
our tradition is a special Christmas Eve buffet, which they help choose what to buy, I save M&s vouchers I get all year from Valued Opinions, and use them for party food and turkey etc.
For both I get choccy coins, selection box, an annual, a Lindt reindeer or santa, a sugar pig, tube of Smarties, penny or coin with the year on, an orange etc. Then during the year I collect books, puzzles etc, if we are lucky enough to be able to go to Disney World I bring back a few bits for stockings and a new ornament.
This year my son is very into planes, airports, flying etc, managed to get some great bits on ebay like a Concorde inflight mag, Qantas playing cards etc, for both of them I put in cd's, dvd's and books
Hawkins Bizarre is great for fun stuff!!! have to get the penguin bowling this year!
also do DH one with books, sweets, boxers, dvds etc, so he's not left out!
I buy stuff in boxing day sales for stockings, like kids pj's, fleecy blankets and santa socks xx0 -
Mention of the £1 coin reminded me of before hubby and I had our own kids, went to his mothers for christmas and sister in law was sat downstairs wrapping stocking stuff. DH made me get 2 x £1 and wrap them in wrapping paper and as much tape as I could get round it . Nephew and niece came down next morning, attacked the stockings, got to our coins and spent 20 minutes trying to get into them. Nephew turned to DH and said 'sighhhh uncle chris!!' :rotfl:
Christmas stockings I have a pack of cars 2 happy families game for DD this year. both have a book and yoyo, DS usually gets some sort of small model kit thats relatively easy to make, he also has a tub of waterbombs from the £ shop. Crayons and colouring books, some chocolate coins, a tube of smarties for DD and minstrels for DS, last year they had fancy writing pencils, high lighters, funny rubbers.
I might look for some top trumps for DS aswell, see if I can get some cheap, also its been tradition since my son was small to get him a snow globe each year . . thinking about it i'd better get looking for this years!
I dont do fruit since the time DS hid the orange in his drawer and I found it 2 months later covered in mould :eek:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10000 -
