It's the final price you pay when you click "Pay Now" that matters...........but with these extra fees and non use charges it will be Impossible to know what your flight really costs.

  • This really is a shocking way to treat customers.

IF everyone advertised like that, you'd never know what your final bill would be. They seem to think they should be an an exception to normal trading practises.
  • A simple solution but perhaps too simple for the regulators is:

To show all possible charges clearly and unambiguously each having a tick box.
All you have to do is untick what you dont want, the total charge changing for each untick/ tick. Too simple.
  • Isn't it just Murphy's Law - I have just applied for a prepaid Mastercard from Neteller as they have no fee's to avoid booking charges and now they change it again.

Even with all their add ons they still come out cheaper than the other low cost airlines - We all have the power of choice so instead of moaning about everything check out the others and if you find better value use them - if not use them as they use you I have just booked two people return to Alicante from UK for £105 it can cost that just for a return cab fare to the airport come on people wake up and smell the coffee.

Taken from another post so no link but apparently applies to the ryanair card

Monthly inactivity fee debited from your Card if it has not been used for 6 months £2.50

I dont get why people are still standing up for the underhand tactics that Ryanair use

How can you have "inactivity" when you can use the card anywhere in the UK, nip round to Asda and buy a bottle of milk.

I don`t think £2-50 every 6 months would break the bank either.

Can`t see hoew it`s underhand as they`re telling people about it with at least 6 weeks notice.

Not having a go at you because you probably cut-and-pasted from ryanair.com. The link on the Ryanair website produces the same result. :p

Yes but also on that error page if you click on "click here" it takes you to Travelex site.

Get your facts right........it's £2.50 A MONTH after 6 months un-use..........and card charges added on to your price of a pint of milk.

This thread is a typical knee-jerk reaction to what`s basically a storm in a teacup.

Don`t get the card and pay the fees or don`t fly with RA.

I know what I and most people will be doing, roll 4th October so we can apply.

The other good thing is that the more that don`t fly with RA the more bargain fares for those that do. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
