    Morning All

(((hugs))) to those feeling low and unwell - get better soon.

I am shattered as had a late night - will have to have an early one tonight. Ended up with yesterday afternoon and evening being mad - loads of late work phone calls and visitors, also had an appointment at 7pm then saw a friend and didnt get home till after 10. Therefore house is in some disarray as OH does try but all he managed to do was put the dw on.

So this morning need to tidy up - cant think when its a mess. Go for riding lesson. Sister will pop round after but I will need to politely get her to go shortly after as I need to write up and send copies of our Health and Safety policies and risk assessments to our clients head office. Then some washing and ironing and cook tea.

My office looks like a bomb site & I would like to think that I can tidy it over the weekend but not banking on it.

Kitchens direct came round and priced our kitchen - nice but too expensive I think so will look in to getting it supplied only elsewhere - am getting excited though as will have a new oven that will have other temperatures than hot and will be able to really start doing some baking.

Well must be off, it would be prefable if I was dressed for the school run!

    Enjoy your day.

    Good Morning!

A bit of a late start in the Hypno house because I forgot to set my alarm (and of course everyone else relies on me!!).

DD was sent home ill from school yesterday and DS is off today having been awake all night with a hacking cough, so no routine yet for us!

Well, just about enough time for a :coffee: before I need to get catching up with myself.

I hate days when you get up later than you should - puts the rest of the day out of sync!

Have a good day everyone, whatever you may be doing x

    Morning all

Hugs to all those who aren't sleeping. I managed to oversleep this morning but luckily only by the 30 mins I normally allow myself to get myself going before I get the kids up. That left me without enough time to wash my hair so it's all scraped back in a ponytail and sprayed with enough spray to hold it down in a hurricane.

Spoke to Kaz for over an hour on the phone last night as I was feeling down about not having a life, bless her, she had me roaring with laughter before we finished. They really should prescribe her on the National Health :D

Just got some bits and bobs to do before I take the parents shopping, I can't leave until 9.30 this morning as DH took the car last night so I have to wait for him to get home.

    Have a good day everyone.

(((( hugs)))) to those feeling down or tired. I hope you start to feel better soon.

I worked out yesterday that this is the first January ever that I have not been overdrawn! :j :j I think most of the thanks belongs to this site. By good planning and cost-cutting, I am still in the black.

Got myself organised last night, so no rushing about this morning. A great start to the weekend for me - I plan to do some clearing out and lots of cleaning this weekend. Very productive and doesn't cost me anything.

I wish I had a holiday to look forward to this year but my finances just don't stretch to it. Still, I will enjoy reading your countdowns until your holidays and of course, the post-holiday tales.

Well, off to have my porridge now. Have a fantastic Friday everyone. x

    Morning everyone:)

Catowen - that's a really sweet idea for the little boy you are looking after today.

I'm another one for a bad night's sleep. I never have a straight night's sleep as dd still wakes me up in the night at the age of 3. I am so weak willed about it too and she ends up 5 nights out of 7 climbing into bed with us at about 2am. I was up 'til 1am last night as just as I was about to go to bed I noticed boots had got some of their mega reductions so did my christmas shopping for this year. If anyone wants to look not all of the toys are reduced by much but if you go through them all you will see some for 65% off and don't forget quidco and there are some points vouchers around ;). Edit: found codes, they are 500 points on a £50 spend AFAA34 1000 points on a £75 spend BFAA43. Sorry if this has already been posted.

Got a bit snappy with OH on the phone last night as I have tried to be so strict with budgeting this month and he is still spending loads on completely unnecessary items, it's really difficult because he is the wage earner and I am not but we have our goals in sight and only money holding us back.

Oh is home tonight so I need to get over it as I want to have a nice weekend. DS has done really well at school this week and we worked really hard on his Roald Dahl homework last night so I hope it goes down well.

Jobs for today are to clear children's bedrooms, pop to Mr T's and make a huge batch of chilli for the weekend and freezer.

Have a great day everyone and hugs to all that need them :)

Well, my carpets were steam cleaned yesterday & they have come up very well, well worth the £75, but now my house is a total tip! Stuff everywhere it shouldn't be from when we cleaerd the rooms, where does it all come from? I feel a flylady session comming on.........:D:rolleyes:

Todays plans are Spuds Babysigning class this morning, then off to the local shops for bits n bobs including a visit to the butchers (do all butchers flirt with their customers or is it just mine? Not just me, he flirts with everyone, I think it must be a customer service thing 'cos it certainly keeps me going back!:o:D), then home to put Spud down for his nap & try to battle the mess. All I want to do is go back to sleep...sooooo tired, but ther is no chance of a nap for me today:rolleyes:

Tonights dinner is a weight watchers mushroom curry:p, then it's off to tescos for my dinner party shopping for tomorrow : I have already made the meringues & after dinner chocolates:D

  • Morning!!!

Add me to the poor sleepers too... I have a meeting with the MD this afternoon and I just couldn't sleep. Gave up in the end. Spent ages last night doing things I never ever bother doing like drying and straightening my hair and plucking brows. Why??? Not like it matters... I don't understand myself...

Love and hugs to all that need them, and esp those who have poorly family members...

Off to chew my last remaining nail...

    TGIF!!!!!

    A supremely stressed out PG
