It would be worse if it was a daughter lol0

Don't see anything wrong with boys and girls sleeping over, if your worried then set up a seperate sleeping area in the living room. Jeez0

i agree with seperate rooms but i think your being a bit harsh boys can be friends with girls without wanting to jump themReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

I had sleep overs with boys and girls, boys were allowed to stay in my room but the door was taken off the hinges, not that I would dream of doing it with my parents in the house. My best friend at 15 was the boy next door, we had sleepovers from about the age of 8 even topped and tailed a few times but from the age of around 13 the door came off, even with girls just to make sure we were not smoking crack, doing a ouija board or anything 'experimental'
So your parents unscrewed the door at the hinges every time you had someone stay over? Are you sure that really happened?0 -
thanks everyone for your quick replies, she has gone home-probably couldn't be bothered with him in a grump, lol. I feel a bit mean, she is a nice girl, but this isn't the first time I have had this conversation with him, he wanted to stay at hers recently and was told no then as well.
Did you tell him no or did her parents? If it was her parents then I absolutely wouldn't allow it. If it was you, then you're being consistent and that's important.
However, if her parents were comfortable with it, I'd have no problem with it, but I'd make up a bed for him on the couch. I'd tell him it was about respecting each other's privacy, which is true - seeing each other in a state of undress at that age could change their friendship.Just because it says so in the Mail, doesn't make it true.
I've got ADHD. You can ask me about it but I may not remember to answer...0 -
If it were me I'd let her stay over, but in a different room. That's what I'd do if my daughter (15) wanted a boy to sleep over.
We did this with Ds's first GF, they were both 17. He and his GF share a room now, but have been dating for over 2 years, and it seems pointless to deny it when her folks have no objections. however, he is now 21 and she 19, she is always respectful, never sits in bed half naked, always completely covered, never 'noises', and never lolloping around in bed half the day.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0
