Just sorted car hire and insurance for our holiday, just waiting to hear back from dh before I sort parking...exciting almost there !!! 77 days to be precise...

Just been online to review the sky package (I know..hangs head in shame but we would spend more buying box sets!!) and I have cancelled the evening/weekend calls as we never use our home phone, it has been free up to now and went through the online steps to cancel our phone/broadband and got £5 off per month. I'm calling that a result!

Busy day yesterday I sorted the car hire, travel insurance and airport parking, got a discount on the sky package and sorted out the service for my car. I ended up freezing the fish pie for dh (so that is 2 teas for him in the freezer) and we all had gammon and chips (sweet potato for me) tonight is meatballs :-)

It's Friday, almost the weekend, i'm so ready for it we are all full of colds, think its the weather, it can't make its mind up!! Busy weekend planned we have got swimming tomorrow followed by shopping for bday presents for niece and the party on sunday (ds friend from school) then sunday got the party followed by family visiting us. In between that lot I need to sort and put away the washing and have a quick tidy/clean of the house.


Leftovers for tea last night, fish pie out of the freezer for dh, meatballs for me. Tonight is chicken fajitas with homemade salsa and tortilla chips, think I might pop dh's in the oven to turn them into enchiladas.

Back to work after a lovely weekend and I've checked and updated the banks, we have got a couple of busy weekends coming up but thankfully the bank holidays should make things easier. Overall not much to report.

Well the holiday has been paid for :-) and we have put aside the bday party money, March has been a spendy month!! Roll on April when I get rid of another credit card :-) I'm going to update the signature to show our new df debt, we might be able to bring it forward again but I've now re worked our budget/payments/forecast to show the reduced wage he will be getting, any extra will be a bonus and will go as an overpayment.

Stupidly busy bank holiday weekend as it was combined with ds birthday. The only jobs we managed to get done on the house were trimming the hedge and the first grass cut, glad I didn't seed the lawn on Friday as we had snow this morning!!


Birthday party prep is well underway, we have bought party supplies plates/napkins/party bags etc (thanks £land) so I need to pick up some trays from hubbys aunties , ahem have my hair done, do a shop, probably Friday, pick up the cake and then do the food Saturday morning. Sounds organised but it doesn't feel it!!

Hair cuts tonight and I think some browsing for holiday clothes, I could do with a couple of bits, ds needs shorts he isn't too bad for t shirts and dh needs a new wardrobe!! Dh can sort his own out though :-)


All the c/c payments made for this month. We decided to keep our payments the same going forwards but instead of paying the holiday off we have added the holiday onto the c/c (interest free) so the holiday payments extend our dfd 2 months. So our actual % paid is 46.91% which includes adding on the holiday. I'm going to keep our signature the same and not go backwards, next month it will be 56.06%.


Full shop done last night but party food to buy on Friday. Busy, bust!!

It's Friday, party day tomorrow!!! Shopping list written, going to pick up food trays tonight and do the party food shop, party bags to be done, cake to be picked up (both by dh) I've written a list of things we need to take with us. So I'm organised (I think), early start tomorrow to do the food. Must remember to sort prezzie/card for the party in the afternoon as well.


Banks are a bit of a juggle for the next week as dh big c/c payment has gone out over a week early, which has left him a bit short so I've had to transfer money. Apart from that everything is good and as it's now April I can officially say I get rid of another c/c this month!! Woohoo.


I spoke to dh about holiday clothes and he is going to buy/sort so I don't need to dip into the clothes budget for him, he has saved up some of his spends. So it's just me and ds.
