I haven't felt that in control recently after having to move our dfd, I was a bit fed up, but our income has dropped and it only extends it by 2 months so it could be a lot worse, which is why I'm looking forward to this little celebration, getting rid of a c/c in April. It is a little pat on the back and encourages me to keep going, after all our dfd is not that far way, just a little further than before.

Well a very hectic weekend, 3 parties including ds's but we did it! The party was great everyone enjoyed it, the house is in a bit of a state but I'm off work tomorrow so i'll sort it then.


So now that the party is out of the way it's back to focusing on the debts, the house and our holiday. The payment for the c/c that is being paid off in April has been set up online for as soon as I get paid rather than waiting until the end of the month, I also need to change the tesc0 c/c payment after this months payment goes out, as its the last payment to that next month :-)

It's been a quiet week, most of my bills have gone out so I'm waiting for payday next Friday :-) it's been a long month, partly because of how pay days fall meaning that this was a 5 week month and I had the party to pay for, the holiday (which ended up on the c/c, rather than reduce c/c payments) and my car insurance, paid upfront. Next month (half april/half may) should be a bit quieter, apart from the last payments on one c/c this month and another next month! and then we go on holiday :-)


Our aim was to be df by the time we went on holiday but we haven't quite managed it due to dh reduced hours at his second job, but we have had some good news he got a 50p/hr pay rise and he has got an extra 1 shift one week, 2 shifts the next. i.e 4 on 4 off. I'm not saying we will pay it off any sooner but we should be more comfortable

Great news on pay rise and enjoying the parties! Don't beat yourself up with dates, what will be will be and it will be one day. Enjoy the days regardless, you're doing amazingly x

I keep telling myself to stop wishing away the days, it's very hard when we are only 5 pay days away from being df!

Lottery win ;-) .....5 pay days sounds much closer than 5 months or August, so that's what I'm going with!!

Great weekend, I was out with a friend watching a band on Friday, we stayed over and got woken up Saturday morning by bin lorries and housekeeping so we complained and got our stay for free!! Spent Saturday recovering, then a quiet day on sunday, me and ds popped out to pick up some vitamins and treated ourselves to a drink and a cake in the coffee shop.


Checked the banks all ok, haven't accounted for my refund yet because I cant remember how much it was!!


All my bills have gone out, so roll on Friday, pay day!! When I can get rid of one of the credit cards.

Still no refund today, I needed a couple of bits from Amaz0n so thought I'd check my survey accounts and I had enough to get a £5 voucher it didn't pay for all of it but it helped.


dh has picked up some extra shifts again....the week before our holiday!! So he is going to be super tired doing 6 nights before we go away luckily he will have 11 nights away to recuperate.

Child and husband free tonight, one at work the other at the g-parents. So for me it's a quick tea followed by exercise dvd, followed by tv catch up in peace.....lovely!!


All quiet on the money front, no bills out of any of the banks, no refund to my bank, pay day nr1 for hubby tomorrow all a waiting game until Friday when I get paid and re set the budget for the month..........and pay off a c/c!!
