  • I am wondering the same, I am feeling like the only way we will have a leg to stand on is if we can prove it was a clearance type price reduction rather than a pricing error. I'm not quite sure how to do this though. Anyone got any other ideas?

If its any help I have got an actual sel stating RTC on it . Sa took it off the shelf for me to take to CS on Sunday morning but there was nobody there so I brought it home. PM me if you want it.

i havent read all the posts, but for those who have missed out or not had the amount ordered delivered n wanting to ring CS to complain. is it not best to just leave it n just be grateful for what u got. if u missed out, sad i know, but much more important things to think about than catfood. just wait for the next price glitch.

Well after my email last night they must have tried ringing me this a.m. they sent an email saying they had tried and failed - weird as I'm glued to phone waiting call from hosp!
Anyhow replied and said why don't they just answer by email - to which I got an email ack. but no reply as yet!!!
Seems like it confusion all round at Customer Service - everyone saying different things and some handing out vouchers and others not - and even some stores selling at low price.
This image still online if you google but unavailable to buy online.tesco.jpg

  • For Glasgow people - just been back to Maryhill and still loads of stock there - market produce - SEL £13.99 but still scanning at £3.49. Only picked up another one for our moggie as got one on Sunday which is still unopened and we don't have anywhere to store more!

Just had a customer dis-service droid ring me to tell me that last nights order has been cancelled. They claimed it was an incorrect online price.
When I said this price was also displayed instore she just kept repeating that it was purely an internet pricing error. Repeat ad nauseum.

She did at least apologise that no one informed me last night that the delivery was cancelled due to an online pricing error.

So that's the newspeak Tesco explanation.
  • My delivery turned up this morning...I ordered 10 of the boxes but only 1 came @ £3.49 and 36 boxes (of 12 sachets) but each of those boxes was charged at £3.49 (some price matched from £3.99 to £3.49 or £3.49 was original price). Then there was a 3 for 2 offer on some of it so instead of it coming to £34.90 + delivery it came to a total of £91.70.

I said to the driver it was wrong, should have been £39.40 total and asked him to give me 2 mins so I could call the store. (they rang me a few times yesterday as they had a problem processing the order and had to get it redelivered today)

The driver said he didn't have time to wait so I refused the whole delivery and then rang the store. The chap I spoke to several times yesterday was in a meeting so I left a message for him to call...he just called me.

He said the boxes of 48 @ £3.49 each were a clearance line...I said it didn't say that online and that they should have subbed 4 boxes at £3.49 for the 4 not each one..

He agreed and he did say he had promised me a refund yesterday if there was a difference...so he has gone to speak to the duty manager and will call me back as he is going to get authorisation to have it redelivered today, at the original price of £39.40 incl delivery....

If they do, I'll be very surprised and very happy.... to be continued lol

  • Ordered 6 boxes of the 48 sachets plus 4 other items. Came last night, no cat food at all. So basically I paid £4.50 delivery for 4 items that came to £9. Why the hell woul Tesco think I would want to pay that? They should have called to see if I still wanted the order. The driver said he could have took it back but I would still have to pay the delivery charge for nothing so I kept it, so angry. I also saw the £3.49 price instore in Blackpool

come on folks its obviously a mess up look at the other 48 packs they just missed the 1 out. a pain that you did not get it. but a bit cheeky wanting it delivered when its an error. go to the store and empty the shelves. but its not fair to demand stuff that the staff can't give you.
